I must have a television. It does not have to be fancy, but there needs to be one in the house for that occasional TV fix. Just before we sold our last house we had three sets, two 27” and one really big screen TV. It was the old projection style, and...
Pros: Excellent picture and relatively inexpensive. Cons: Crappy remote, no composite input.
I'm a top reviewer all the sudden. Whod've thunk it?
I have a friend who loathes the very existence of my little Daewoo television. He seems to be convinced that one should not buy televisions from manufacturers of cheap Asian cars...
Pros: I actually got my money back and not store credit Cons: Picture quality failed on me and was mediocre anyway; poor sound; crummy remote
Where do I start? Well, currently I have a Philips TV (go to my profile and check out the review) and it is still a fantastic TV; I can't find anything wrong with it. But before my Philips TV, I actually went to Target and bought a TV before this one. ...
Pros: Works perfect after 8 years of operating for at least 4 hours almost everyday. Cons: None at all!
My sister and I bought this TV for our mom at *least* 8 years ago. She used it, and about a few years later, I started using it a lot-I was addicted to soap operas. And, when I went to college, I used it even more-at least 4 hours a day-I was still addicted to soap operas. I can't believe this TV still works after more than 8 years. I'm sure we spent no more than $200 on it.
If you don't care about flat screens, high-definition (whatever that means), and just want to watch TV, I would definitely get a Daewoo. Why spend the extra money on the fancy stuff just to watch your favorite programs?
Pros: Great quality and picture for a good price. Cons: Remote somewhat limited. Connection port has raised plastics housing -- somewhat prevents snug antenna/cable fit.
I purchased this 19 inch TV with some concern regarding the brand which I'd not purchase before. But was pleasantly surprised. It is a great TV. The color and picture quality is excellent. It works well with antenna and with VCR and satellite.
I have now had the television for over 4 years and it works as good as the day purchased. Unlike my more expensive Toshiba color TV, the color quality is consistent from channel to channel. I've only had to adjust it a few times. And the on-screen programming is easy to use and understand.
As smaller tubed televisions are hard to find now, many are looking at used televisions. This would be good unit to purchase used as an estate sale etc. It is a sturdy product with an excellent picture. Great TV for a great price.
