The DeLonghi D996UX Deep Fryer: A Good Unit For The Money

Pros: Fries Food Evenly, Easy To Clean, Lightweight, Safe, Quiet
Cons: Viewer Window Is Useless, The Bottom "Feet" Do Not Stay Attached To The Unit

Pros: Heats quickly
Cons: everything else
Fryer heats reasonably fast but will not reach even 360 degrees most of the time, which is critical for french fries. Rubber drain hose rots quickly and leaks...a real piece of junk.
