Pros: Multimedia capabilities, wi-fi & Bluetooth, able to use Compactflash and Secure Digital cards. Cons: Numerous resets, software bundle, no camera, side buttons are too easy to activate.

Pros:WMP Mobile 10; WiFi connectivity; Pocket IE works great Cons:Like Docs-To-Go better than Pocket versions of Excel, Word; Microsoft OS
My employer's computer I/T department exhibits great follow-through. After over a year of waiting for them to support my Palm Tungsten C that I brought over from another employer, they finally decided to let me in on a secret; Ain't gonna happen! After ...
Pros: Bright screen, fast processor, great Wi-Fi and Bluetooth range. User replaceable battery. Cons: Battery life. Headphone jack in poor place with large CF Cards.
Over the years I've owned several PDAs, both of the Windows mobile and Palm persuasion, as well as a few that are proprietary. My Palm Tungsten T had seen better days, and I was growing frustrated with newer tools for it (like the Wi-Fi SD Card) not ...
Pros: nice design;expandability of software;Wifi;bluetooth; infared;USB1.1 Cons: could have faster USB transfer, bluetooth could be easier!
So what does the much talked about x50 give? The answer to that question depends on what you want it to give. The x50 has an ample processor, running at 500Mhz - to handle all the nice and neat features - like pocket word, and even the more ...
This review is for the layperson, who considers a purchase like this to be a pretty big one, as it was for me ( I bought this to replace a Palmone Zire 31). I work out of the house, and have a ten year old son, so I need to leave periodically. I needed ...
Pros: Fast, Wifi and Bluetooth capable, Great colors and portability. PRICE. Cons: Not enough software.
I bought the Axim x50 520mhz recently. I have using it daily and i like it a lot. It has made my life much easier. I am a student and i work full time. I use at school because I get free wifi. At home i have a wireless router. I did have to install quite a few programs on it that I wanted but it works great. Its fast and games work very nicely on it. I have used pocket dvd to put a whole live concert on it and it played great on the win media player 10. I specially encourage this for people with limited budgets, to go and buy this PDA. For the price its the best out there. With some extra accessories like the rihnoskin case and a nice 1gig mem card and you are set.
Great Pocket PC...Poor Software Selection by sprinttampabay ,Apr 03 '05
Pros: Lot's of performance for the investment...very functional...easy too use...WiFi & Bluetooth... Cons: Not enough installed software...too many trial versions..
I really like my Dell Axim X50...after looking at the Benchmark test I thought it was as good as any HP I'd looked at...I also felt the X50 wasn't that much slower than the X50v to warrant the extra money...the screen is crisp with nice color...was easy to sync to my computer...great too have an extra storage for extra memory...with the money I saved buying the Dell I was able too purchase some nice extras...and it was still less money than a equal HP...excellent value...great performance...
Pros: Clear screen, WIFI, Bluetooth, CF and SD slots Cons: No protective cover
Have had the 520 MHz Axim for 2 months and have not regretted it. Main uses are for agenda and using Uptodate (1GB medical encyclopedia). The Axim copes with these admirably and the search on the Uptodate is sufficiently responsive (2-5 seconds). Wifi and Bluetooth are also excellent. I synchronise without docking and upload daily information in the morning before going to work. After owning PDAs for the last 10 years best one to date (although sentiments go to my old Psion 5).
Its with me wherever I go! by hunnings5 ,Oct 31 '05
Pros: Light weight, big screen, easy to navigate, flexible to use stylus Cons: battery life....be sure to program the outside buttons to maximize the battery usage.
I converted from a PalmPilot to the Dell Axim X50 and will not go back! The pros out weigh the cons! Looking for a multifunctional PDA...this is the one. From organizing your calendar, addresses, notes, documents to fun things like games and WiFi connectivity, this PDA is a have to have!
I am able to sync all files I set up with my home PC and even installed Yahoo IntelliSync. With headphones, I have an MP3 player ready to go!
Pros: Small, fairly rugged, and versatile. Cons: Reprogram the outside buttons or you'll have to charge frequently.
I got my Axim to help me get organized. It also helps me have fun!
I run all my appointments through the calendar. I keep all my contact information with me. And I can synch everything with my PC.
When I have a little downtime, like waiting in line, I can play games that I've downloaded from the Internet. There are tons of applications available.
I even use my Axim when I mow my yard. With a pair of earphones, it makes a great mp3 player. I bought a 1 Gig memory card and now I can play whatever music I'm in the mood for. You can even play videos! There are two card slots, a CompactFlash and an SD.
I can write fast post-it like notes to myself or use the voice recorder feature. The Axim is Bluetooth compatible as well as WiFi so all I need is a hot spot and I'm online.
This is a great little device and I'd never want to lose it.
