Pros: When it did work it was fine. Cons: Dell is unresponsive to the many problems with the dell 5150.
There are many problems with the dell 5150 that happen right after warranty runs out. Dell refuses to recall the laptops or offer fixes other than replace motherboard. The a/c adapter plug does not work without jiggling the wire. This then causes the a/c connector to breaks off the motherboard or causes cracks in the motherboard. There is no external way to charge the battery, so you can't still use the computer without the a/c adapter. This problem has been around for a long time and dell has not addressed it.
My laptop is only 17 months old and the problem started right after the warranty was expired.
