Hunk o garbage
by hoovervac ,Oct 01 '08
Pros: cool looking
Cons: to slow, freezes eaisily,
this computer was a good one in our home for a few years.but after at least 4 years it started to get slower and I would have to reboot it once in a while because it would get terribly frozen just for watching one video on youtube. Im not satisfied at all with this computer we are going to switch to mac soon. If you ever see this computer at a low price at a dell or computer store dont buy it!! Ive got only 3 words for this hunk of junk. Piece of junk!!!

Dell and Dumber
by whfrat ,Sep 22 '08
Pros: Prompt home service if you have warranty
Cons: You NEED the extended warranty.

OK, aside from the fact that I purchased two Dell computers, one for my Dad, and one for me. Both have had operating system and hard drive failures. Service was prompt, but failures are consistent. My fathers breaks every 6 months, 3x now. Mine 2x.

Lets take a look at the latest advertising, 9-22-08, while your on hold.... "purchase premier support, speak to someone in the US, wait only 2 minutes."

So Dell admits the regular customer service, blows, and then asks you to pay extra for what you should get in the first place. And most likely you'll get the same information, scripts for your extra cash. In the end, you paid extra to hear someone say "NO" in English.

My suggestion, Don't be a dumby. ;-) Don't buy Dell
