I've had this system since January of 2002, it is now May of 2007. If that doesn't say anything about this system (and its manufacturer), then I don't know what does.

I had no serious issues with it until very recently, it had a hard drive failure last year and I had to replace the fan on the power supply. Otherwise, all of the original components are still in working order alongside several minor upgrades I did a couple years ago.

I know the system is seriously outdated now, but I wanted to throw a bone to Gateway for this great computer. I'm hoping the two new Gateway systems my family purchased recently turn out to be just as reliable as this old boy here.
