Pros: ease of use, speed, efficiency, price
Cons: Pre-installed software

This is a simple, no frills, yet efficient computer. I have had absolutely no problems with it, and I have had it for 2 years. It comes with very basic software (MS works, money, etc.), so invest in MS Office or a similar software suite if needing to do word processing/spreadsheet/presentation tasks. It came with a Pentium 4 Processor (1.6 GHz), a CD-ROM (52x) and CD-R drive (32x), and had 256MB of RAM. Very good buy, overall.

Pros: Great machine, plenty fast, lotsa good things inside
Cons: too few drive bays and needs a larger power supply for modding purposes

I purchased a PowerSpec 8420 several years ago and it is still my main machine today. I have owned a PowerSpec 3.06GHZ for about 6 months also but haven't migrated to it. This machine just takes a lickin and keeps on tickin.. The only component I have made any upgrades to is the video card and that is only due to Everquest.

Pros: NONE
Cons: counterfeit Vista

DO NOT buy one with Vista. Microcenter installs counterfeit version of Vista and then wants to charge you to fix it.
