Pros: Easy to use. Excellent pictures. Flexibility with EF lenses. Cons: It doesn't fit in my pocket. Really, no cons that I can see.
When I started looking for a digital camera, I really wanted a Canon SLR so I could use my EOS EF lenses. Unfortunately, the price of the D-60 was too steep and no one had the camera anyway. I started looking at the Nikon 5700, but never could get...

Pros: Excellent build quality.
Excellent image quality.
Interchangeable Canon lenses. Cons: Compact flash write speed could be improved.
Eyecup clips tend to break.
I had owned various SLR's in the past, most recently a Nikon N90s. Moving from film to digital was a dream for someone that is very interested in the web and digital media. The ability to move your pictures from camera to family instantly is very nice! ...

Pros: Sturdy, crisp image, easy to use and reliable. Ebay has this for around $350. Cons: The camera gets heavy with certain lenses attached.
I wanted this camera since it came on the market. I saved up for it and happened to find it hidden away in a clearance section of Walmart - no less! I examined the box and all that was wrong was a missing manual and a cracked CD - no biggie for the ...

Pros: Breakthru camera gives the most bang for the buck, Cons: Slow startup, heavy with spare battery, 1.6x magnification
I am a professional portrait photographer and I have been using the 10 d for about a year now. Previously I shot with the Mamiya RZ 67. I love this camera. It has changed the way I do my work. First the tripod is rarely used now. I can shoot more ...

Pros: Great images, low noise, interchangeable lenses (large selection), build quality, includes Photoshop Elements 2.0 Cons: Auto white balance, some exposure issues, no full frame sensor
UPDATE: Due to the arrival of the 20D, I'm changing my rating to 4 stars. For its time, the 10D was a great camera but the 20D addresses many issues with the 10D, so I'm reserving my five star rating for the 20D. I've had this camera for months now ...

Pros: Great price, excellent performance Cons: Not the lightest camera I own
Just bought this the other day and have fallen instantly in love! Excellent output and ease of use threaten to make my old film SLR obsolete (or for use only on the most special of occasions). If you use a Zio! drive or similar to download photos from...

Pros: Great pictures, fast, features to allow tons of creativity that only an SLR can provide. Cons: Could provide a bit more sharpness to images, but not really so bad.
An excellent camera at the price point. Nikon is going to have to catch up big-time. I love how fast it gets ready when you turn it on, and between shots. The controls are very easy to learn, especially if you've got prior EOS experience. Its heavy...

Pros: SLR, Ease of use, accurate color, professional features, 3FPS, 36bit color depth, multi-point focus Cons: Weight, 1.6x Lens multiplier, no tilt and swivel LCD
I have been using Canon digital point & shoots (the G1, then a G2) for a couple of years, waiting for the day when an SLR with decent features and price became available. Wait no longer! The Canon D10 is an amazing camera, living up to the promise of...

Pros: Excellent Color Cons: Rough Focus
With Digital Camera's becoming so popular these days, I had my wife go out and grab me one for my birthday. Now all I wanted was a cheap one to fool around with, but she really surprised me by spoiling me with this one. Now as a beginner, I was...

Pros: Excellent picture quality, Easy to use control panel - Lots of custom functions Cons: heavy - Battery drains quickly (if you use IS lens)
This is my first digital camera, after using Canon Elan 7E for about 2 years, I bought this DSLR and I'm completely satisfied with the performance. If you already own a 7E then you don't have to read the manual for operation instructions. Easy focusing...

Pros: Price Point, Resolution, Capabilities, Plenty of Accessories (Both Canon and Other) Cons: Just Don't Drop It!
The Canon EOS 10D is an awesome camera. The price point is perfect for those wanting prof. level equipment without the prof. level bill! I bought the 10D about a year ago. I upgraded from a Canon Rebel G 35mm. With the digital I find my shots ...

Pros: Fit for professional uses Cons: Irritating the Common Users
If you think that you can take pictures and download them into any sizes, but especially for commercial uses, then this one is for you.
But, if you think that you are not that professional or not at all professional, no need to worry. This...

Simple Operation, Outstanding Results
by sprtsjunkee ,Mar 30 '04
Pros: Ease of operation, quick start up guide, clear descriptions of dials, acronyms, and weight. Cons: Too many picture taking opportunities, not enough time!!!
I bought this camera to start doing some sports photography. i was looking for a camera that could hold up in a variety of situations like swimming pools, soccer pools and basketball courts. this camera does it all for the user who has some knowledge of digital photography, but not as extensive as a pro. Little things make a difference and I appreciate the attention to detail, like the clear LCD screen is easy to use and operate. I don't have to have a PhD in photography to understand the user's manual and the tools.
Overall, an outstanding camera that's worth the investment. Hint, I splurged for the Canon L series lenses and am extremely pleased with the overall performance. Don't skimp on lense quality or you'll miss some of the range that this camera offers.
