Pros: Low Price, fantastic quality of image, easy to use, lots of options Cons: None so far, really !
This is a fantastic camera. I just bought this one a few weeks ago and already I can master most of its option. This camera has 12 scene assist, a great video mode, a 3X optical focus and a 7.5 digital focus (combined with the 3X).
The...

Pros: Not bad picture quality. Easy to use. Cons: Has too slow a shutter drag. A debilitating 'error' e18, renders your camera useless.
This camera was a gift to me for my birthday in March 2004. At that time it was considered to be one of the smartest purchases you could make for a digital camera. It cost us $400.00 cdn. I was more or less happy with it. It took okay pictures, ...

Pros: Design.Ease of use. Cons: The zoom ring is not well-fit - has a certain play. Some red-eye problems.
The selling price here in Greece is 388 Euro(including VAT). Guess what, I have already bought it, then I discovered how much it costs elsewhere. But, for me, it is worth even this amount of money. The 1600x1200 maximum analysis seems inadequate for big...

Pros: Price. Photo quality. Features. Cons: Size. Weight. Shooting speed.
The Canon A60 is a great buy when seen on paper. For roughly $200 with all the capabilities of most of the other Canon cameras, differencing in only its megapixels, it seems like the perfect camera for a student looking to just get pictures up on the web ...

You're Gonna Miss the Good Shots...
by sweetbsmom ,Jan 04 '07
Pros: Price, ease of use Cons: Slow and a bit heavy
All in all, this is a good little camera for the money. It makes clear pics and is easy to use - fully automatic for the beginner. It feels a bit heavy with 4 AA's. My only gripe with this camera has been that I've missed sooo many great photo opps of my baby and toddler. This camera is just too slow to catch a moving child. If the subject is still though, the pics come out nice and clear with good color.

Great camera!
by mamakd ,Mar 26 '05
Pros: Easy to use and takes great pictures! Cons: Easily damaged when dropped
I originally had the A20 and loved it so I picked out the A60 last year and I am so glad I did! Very easy to use and takes great pictures (for a 2MP camera). I plan on buying a newer version when I out grow this camera.
My only complaint was that when dropped and the zoom is out the camera no longer worked. it would not retract and could no longer take photos. I had a friend fix it luckily. He also said it was a good camera from the looks of it when he pulled it apart. As far as it no longer working, I don't expect a camera to do too well after a fall.

Great Value
by shootingstar20 ,May 18 '05
Pros: easy to use, great zoom, video option Cons: if you don't hold it steady enough the images may be blurry (unless on speed)
I got this digital camera in July 2003 and I have used it So much. I'm surprised how good this camera is (considering it's only 2 megapixels). It has many different settings such as nighttime, speed (great for athletic events), and panoramic view. You can also take videos with the camera which I have used a lot during concerts I go it. The digital zoom is also excellent. I was surprised at how much this camera can zoom. I would definitely recommend this camera to my friends.

The Little Camera that could
by liz1944 ,Nov 12 '03
Pros: Lots of lighting settings. easy figure out controls. allows for short movies with sound. Cons: Takes lots of batteries. 4 AA used quick when viewing LCD
Looking for a mid priced digital camera with more bells and whistles than most on the market. This camera is great. One of the few that can go to a Manual that lets you choose your own F-stops and can light meter based on one small area of the picture. SO you can shoot a sunset and not have the foreground totally black. beautiful
Good size camera. Not so big that you feel like you're lugging around the old full size camcorders but not so small that there's no where to put your fingers. nice balance.

Pros: GOOD:Absolutely customizable interface for advanced users and totally automatic for beginners. Cons: BAD:16 mb Compact Flash Card
I've buyed this camera months ago, this " little toy " is better than i thought, principally in fast scenes using ISO 400 and night shots.
This camera has the most quality sensor, lens, color, speed and price of category
aproved!
