I got this for my 9th or 10th birthday and it was right for me then, but now I'm 14 and I need a better digital camera. This camera eats up batteries like none other and doesn't take very good pictures. It's pretty big and the video feature doesn't have sound. The date feature always gets messed up and the date is plastered on every photo (the WRONG one!) 2 megapixels is not enough for a camera...if the owner of this camera is going to be older than 8, I would not reccommend it.

It is compact and light. It fits in the case with our camcorder. It takes pics quickly. It is basic and easy to operate. We just want pics of our baby, nothing fancy. This is a great camera for families. LOVE IT! The price is great to!

This Camera has a very poor LCD and it drains batteries within 10 minutes of use....I would suggest that no one purchase any of samsung's equipment!I have gone through 8 AA batteries in 2 days...this camera is just a piece of junk to throw away!

I picked up this digimax 240 for quick digital shots, to go along with my two Mamiya SLR cameras. The little guy works fine, but it does drain batteries quickly. Rechargable NiMH batteries are a must, but even with the LCD display turned off, they only last about an hour during flash photography.

The camera takes decent pictures, and can be compared in quality to an instant 35mm camera.

Pros: auto focus, small size, and the ease of use.
Cons: The battery life could be somewhat better.

I enjoy this product. I use it a lot for e-bay pictures and my grandchildren. It is compact and easy.
