This is by leaps and bounds the worst vacuum I have ever used. Total waste of money. Don't be fooled by the "bagless" hype... that just means the dirt in the vacuum gets all over everything outside the vacuum (AND into your lungs) when you attempt to empty the container. There is NO way to cleanly empty the vacuum without getting you and everything around you absolutely filthy.

Low suction. Belt broke after one month.

We bought this because it was cheap and we needed a new vacuum in a hurry. I suppose you get what you pay for - this vacuum is no exception. It worked fine, dare I say great, at first, like most every new appliance, but it was soon defeated by what 4 cats, the carpet bits from their kitty condo, and a long haired girl leave behind. The filter where the bottom of the canister meets the unit gets clogged easily and quickly, and makes an extra mess to clean up. This unit may be bagless, but that doesn't mean your hands and nostrils never meet dirt and dust you sucked up. The debris inside the canister should be spinning around inside at all times, letting you know the suction is still strong and the filter is clear, but too often I look down after just a short half-room suck to see the debris sitting there not moving.

If you don't mind emptying the canister every two minutes, and need a cheap vacuum for quick cleanups, I guess this one would work for you.

Looked cool, but is cumbersome. The attachments are pretty much for show, most of them do not do much. Cheap plastic and cheap internally.

My husband and I went looking for a "better" vacuum cleaner, saw this one at wal-mart and bought it since it was the most expensive one there.

Had I known I would have to clean the filter after every use(twice daily)I never would have purchased this product.  This vacuum is extremely heavy, cumbersome, noisy, and I have to run over my carpet 3 times for it to collect anything.  The hose falls off during vacuuming and it is not user friendly when dumping the bin.  This is the first Dirt Devil I have ever owned and it certainly will be the last.  I have used this for 2 months and will be selling it in my yard sale in two weeks.  I have since purchased a different vacuum and now have clean floors.  If you have animals or children, I do NOT recommend this product.  To me it was a complete waste of money.
