    Pros: Brushed Stainless interior, good control template, solid construction, spacious, quiet operation, hi temp wash, mini-disposer.

    Pros: Quiet, reliable, spacious & easy to load/unload, usually did a good job
    Cons: It gave out at 5.5 years - too early in my book.

    Summary: I loved our Kitchenaid dishwasher and am very upset that the element corroded and the motor died just 6 months after the part warranty gave up. I bought the dishwasher new and am now faced with paying over $500 to get it repaired, or buy a new one.

    Pros: Uncommonly quiet, intuitive controls, efficient cleaning, good rack space. Beautiful to behold in stainless finish.
    Cons: Unusually prone to electrical malfunction - you will need the extended service warranty.
