Pros: small, attractive package suitable for throwing under a semi. The tech support does respond back. Cons: I have the intestinal fortitude to continue troubleshooting this problem.
Summary: I bought this product to do what is advertised. Boost the Routers signal. I was getting low but acceptable strength at the location with just the router. Only allowing 1-2meg before I bought the product. I bought it, Upgraded the firmware in the repeater

Pros: Inexpensive, small, reliable Cons: Not a lot of features, but then again, it's just a repeater.
Summary: I've been running a DWL-G800AP for more than two years now as a repeater for a DI-624. The DI-621 is more than 100 feet from the repeater, but throughput, signal strength and quality have all been acceptable - even when passing through my tile roof

Pros: small, wall mountable, inconspicuous Cons: would like to see a "who is connected" list in the interface
Summary: I have been using this access point for about 1.5 years now. It never had any problems, even at the earlier firmware levels. I'm going to get another one so that I have a repeater to make my whole house with full

Pros: finally worked. Cons: PAIN to Setup, tech support and manuals are a joke.
Summary: As a network engineer, we've setup lots of wireless networks and never has one been so difficult to setup as these DWL-G800AP's and it's partner, the DI-624 rev C. Their setup manual and live tech support are a joke. First, make sure you have all

Pros: If it worked as a repeater as advertised it would be great. Cons: It simply does not work. And, tech support can't help.
Summary: I was very much looking forward to getting this repeater to extend the range of my DI-624 which is flawless. Unfortunately, the 800AP is totally flawed and did not work as a repeater. Several calls and hours with tech support yielded nothing. They

Pros: It works Cons: Need tech support to help with installation.
Summary: I spent so much time using Dell Trumobile routers and such to configure a client who has a huge home. I bought this extender and hooked it to my DI-624 and it worked great. I did have to program an IP into it to look to my router but it boosted my signal

Pros: Tech support OK. Offered assistance beyond FAQ docs. Cons: Does not work as a repeater as billed.
Summary: Purchased G800AP and had to return. DOA. Second unit online, but unstable. Told by Dlink tech support that it was XP SP1. Informed that I would need to use 3rd party wireless software. 'Testing' XP SP2 in lab. No faith that the AP will repeat

Pros: None Cons: Does not work. No support
Summary: I received my first one about two weeks ago. After several hours with tech support trying to get it to function, they said it was defective. I returned it for another and spent several more hours with rude incompetent tech support people. They did not
