EMI ductless mini-split systems

Pros: Exterior surfaces look nice and elegant.
Cons: Poor product design, quality and inadequate Customer Support help. Company stands behind its warranty?
My experience with EMI system has been a nightmare. Three of 4 airhandlers (evaporators) have defective coils (leaking coolant/oil), 1 had a damaged condensate water drain plug (causing water leak), and another has a leaky condensate pump. Wiring instructions are miniscule and ambigious; took a lot of troubleshooting to get it right. Customer Support (help desk) is poor in returning calls. I am now awaiting to see if they will honor warranty and replace the defective units. Professional licensed HVAC techs who have performed this installation work for me said its a disappointing surprise - and I agree!
