Sorry to disagree with the majority but this thing was cheeseball. It has the look and feel of diablo 2 but well without the coolness of being diablo 2. I was very interested in getting the game..the box looked cool..but box art and screenshots..well ...

Pros: Multiplayer doesn't require broadband connection. A great role playing game.

You can play as 6 different characters, like the Gladiator, Battle Mage, Seraphim, Vampiress, Wood Elf, and Dark Elf, in a world with so many different enemies that are out for your blood. You go around collecting different mission items, all while leveling up, to make your character one of the best ones that anyone can see. Play this game online with all your friends and family, and it is like Diablo. You can visit the Wizard and customize your own combos, and fighting styles. When you visit the Blacksmith, he will help you make armor and weaponry that will suit your needs (or wants)

I mainly bought Sacred because it used the Diablo interface. But I enjoyed this game MUCH more than Diablo. The game has an awesome plot, a zillion items, plenty of spells, and tons of monsters. It's RPG "Hack & Slash" at it's very best!

I also really liked some of the innovative character classes, like Seraphim (half-angel) and Dark Elf.

My only gripes that the software leaks memory (you literally have to leave it running for days to crash it, however), and occasional buggy sound (sometimes the weapons don't make noise).

The game's playable characters have some really funny gloats, like, "Why do you want to die?" and "That was a *terrible* mistake!"

I've played the game for nearly two years! Let the good times roll!
