FLAIR PURIFIER - GREAT!!!
by zapnews ,Aug 24 '05
Pros: MAKES THE AIR **VERY** FRESH. MINIMIZES DUST IN HOUSE, CUT IT BY 50% Cons: A LITTLE NOISY AT FIRST, THEN YOU GET USED TO WHITE NOISE
THIS IS THE **BEST** AIR FILTER ON THE MARKET. MY HOUSE HAS NEVER BEEN LESS DUSTY AND WHEN YOU WALK IN THE DOOR YOU CAN SMELL THE FRESHNESS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Excellent Product for Over 10 Years
by jke310 ,Mar 01 '08
Pros: Keeps the air fresh and clean; seldom needs repair or maintenance Cons: No local dealer since I moved
I bought my Flair air purifiers more than 10 years ago (as of 2008) and just now need to have the second one repaired (I had the fan quit on the first one a couple of years ago and had it repaired then).
I've had people come into my house after they've been smoking and I can "deodorize" them before they leave an hour later.
I use two of them for a four-level house (about 3600 square feet) and can remove odors (such as from the wood-burning insert) quickly and completely.

Ecoquest Flair Air Purifier...Not recommended
by robinatt ,Jul 25 '05
Pros: This unit made the house smell very fresh. Cons: It was very unreliable for the money.
In January of 2004, I purchased the Ecoquest Flair Air Purifier from a local dealer here in Salina, Kansas. At first it was very noisy, but the house smelled great. (At this point I really should have returned it.)The dealer, Dale Smith, sent it back and it came back relatively quiet and freshened our air for a few months. Then we noticed the air was not smelling fresh and the panels inside were replaced. It worked a few more months. Then, you guessed it, it stopped again. Now the dealer wants me to pay for new panels and says, "there must be something strange about the air in my house"! I think for $435.00 it should last for years. I loved the smell when it worked but hate the fact that I spent so much money on something that didn't last. Now, it just sits in a box.

Flair Unit is very good
by lenrussell ,Aug 25 '06
Pros: It works like advertised...with a money back guarantee. It comes in 3 colors too.... Cons: NONE
This unit retails for only $349.00 by EcoQuest not some of the pricing I see by the reviews, it also come with TWO purification plates and if one has a smell and doesn't like it all he need to do is remove one plate and it will become a LOW Oxidation unit with practically NO smell at all. I'm very, very happy with mine and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who needs it for breathing problems,Allergies, or is using an Inhaler but would recommend purchasing from a Reliable dealer like mine as any problems, questions all were handled as he made numberous call to check and see if everything was working properly or if I had any questions. I had a trailer house that had frozen up in the winter and it cleaned up the MOLD within two days.......

Don't waste your money like I did.
by rayzin ,Nov 27 '08
Pros: Worked for a short time Cons: Company doesn't honor the warranty and it has a lifetime guarantee!
I purchased this machine( ECOQUEST FLAIR PURFIER) for 400. odd dollars and it's not worth 14.00 and better yet, it is SUPPOSED to have a lifetime warranty...not so. You are better off to buy those ones for 39-69 dollars from Honeywell. Everytime I turned mine on, I'd end up with a sore throat, so needless to say, it's not used. I called the manufacturer and got no results. They DO NOT stand behind their products. DO NOT BUY!!!!
