Best seat ever for tall toddlers!

by angadrian , Jan 07 '08
Pros: The seat allows a child to sit up higher than most car seats would.
Cons: The base is a little wider than I would like.
When our daughter outgrew her infant carrier by two months, I didn't think about her out-growing her convertible car seat as soon as she did. She was two and a half and according to car seat safety guidelines, she was too tall for the straps of her ...

by tbell8784 , Aug 14 '08
Pros: Easy to use,Attractive,Comfortable, Enough padding , Easy to clean .
Cons: Can be bulky to carry in and out of car.
This is a terrific product! It has a high back and is perfect for larger sized toddlers. It is so comfortable for my child . It is actually the only seat he will sit in for long rides. The seat is also very easy to clean and very attractive . It is also ...

Don't waste your money!

by mommy2jana , Dec 08 '06
Pros: Easy to get a tight install, cup holder, no re-threading the harnesses to change height
Cons: Doesn't harness past 40 lbs, highest harness position is only 15 inches
I bought this seat last year while on a quest for a new carseat for my then 2.5 yr old daughter. I was under the impression that I would not need another seat for her as this one goes up to 100 lbs. I was so wrong! It is now less than a year later and ...

great carseat, start to finish
by jamlee19 ,Sep 17 '06
Pros: birth and up. comfortable. cubby spaces. easy to adjust. great carry handle.
Cons: seat cover is dark. Seat is a little bit heavy.
I wish we had bought this car seat in the beginning. We just got it a few months ago for our 2 year old. This thing is great. It's a rear-facing, forward-facing seat. Our daughter can even recline in the front-facing position. Both arm rests go up for ease of getting her in and out. She can't raise them yet because she hasn't figured out the red buttons. She has a cup holder on her left side. A couple of cubbies for little toys. The straps are easy to redo. It comes with a removable pad for your tiny, tiny baby. The whole cover comes off for washing. The base is a large square, so the seat doesn't shift around. It's easy to belt it in the car too. We're going to buy a second one for our 1 year old.

I LOVE THIS SEAT!!!
by mpowell78 ,Mar 12 '07
Pros: So easy to get in position and no shifting.
Cons: The seat cover off isn't as easy as I thought it would be.
My in-laws gave us this seat as a gift. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this seat! My daughter who is 15 months old absolutely adores it! It was super easy to get in to place, it does not shift around and I have no problem with getting her in and out of it, which is saying a lot considering I have a bad back. I HIGHLY recommend this seat. My daughter loves the armrests. She thinks it is so neat to be able to use them. And she likes to take her cup in and out of the cup holder.

Nice seat for a growing toddler
by queenvcp ,Apr 14 '07
Pros: Roomy seat, nice fabric, recline feature is great
Cons: Straps hard to tighten and twist often, cup holder hard to get at
We bought this seat for our 2 1/2 year old son. It is a nice roomy seat. The recline feature is a must because our son sleeps almost all the time in the car and it is much more comfortable for him. The fabric and padding are great. The cup holder is impossible to get at for the child while he is strapped in the seat. My biggest complaint is the straps are hard to tighten and get twisted easily (don't they all though?!?) We also have a Cosco Alpha Omega convertible seat which I prefer over this one, but both are good.

Good solid safe seat although slightly complicated
by katebell ,Aug 26 '09
Pros: Solid, safe, with handy features such as cup holder, recline is a nice option.
Cons: Complicated to wash, install, & modify.
We bought this product because we needed a Canadian approved car seat after moving from Europe.  The European seats, in my opinion, are far superior to the North American seats, with the exception that few of the European ones have a chest clip. This seat has served us well, however, I would say 1) that the side head rests are not large enough to support the head of a sleeping child, regardless of the recline option; 2) that it is complicated to install (eg not easy to move between cars), modify (don't plan to modify on the fly), and especially to wash (no washing instructions). So when my 3 yr old fell asleep and did a pee, not only was it a real hassle to get the cover off, but the pee had gone through to where the instruction booklet is stored in the base, and through the base onto the actual back seat of the car.  3) The 3rd consideration is that my 2nd is a girl and in the last year pink has become really important. So perhaps in our case we might have to upgrade anyway to a booster that's pink.
