Pros: Why buy it if the time feature isn't reliable Cons: SmartSet

Great Features But Bad Backup

Pros: Auto set, easy to read and program Cons: Alarm does not go off in battery back up mode.
One of the features of a battery backup alarm clock is that if the power goes out I'd like for it to still go off and wake me up; however, this one does not. It will go off if the power comes back on within the 60 minute time frame the alarm would be going off for. The auto set is really cool and is easy to see from across the room at night.
