Pros: A faithful reedition of a largely forgotten bass. High build quality. Cons: Neckdive and little else.
Summary: Right now it seems that good deals are available everywhere
on this bass. It is a high-quality reissue of Gibson's 60's EB ('Electric Bass')3. I secured mine new at Coda Music,
England, for £309 (around $420).This is of Korean manufacture.

Pros: Alot of bass for the buck. Great tone, very good quality, very playable. GREAT FINISH! Cons: The neck is heavy. The bass is made of mahogany & is heavy.
Summary: I have been a bass player for 30 years. I own several guitars & basses. I would like to compare the EB-3 to the like priced Mexican made Fender P-bass (which I also own). Ok, the P-bass has a bolt on neck, a single pickup, dot inlay markers on the neck & ...

Pros: Light and Punchy. Very fast neck. Cons: 3/4 scale takes a little time.
Summary: One word for the EB-3: Yummy.
Aside from being one of the coolest looking bodies around, the EB-3 is one of the most versitile basses I have ever had the pleasure of playing. The thin body and fast neck matched with its low action creates an...

Pros: tones range from high-end kraut rock to low end 70's porn. Cons: the neck is rather heavy compared to the body.
Summary: depending on the amp used, you can get quite a range of tones from this bass. i started out playing through a boss VF-1 effects processor, using fuzz and a bit of reverb...but now only use a bit of compression. it has a rich sound and covering it up

Pros: Great sound, looks awesome, great quality and price, light weight and good for jamming Cons: None that i can think of
Summary: This bass is the best damn bass you can buy. The sound is great and so is the neck length. I also love the fact that is just like Angus Young's Gibson SG. If you dont like this bass just walk away and sell your bass because you weren't meant to play if
