Pros: Light in weight; great for quick pick-ups or small places; cordless Cons: Battery only lasts 15-20 minutes; no attachments
I had given the kids one of my upright vacuum cleaners to use in their apartment while going to college. After a few months, they were complaining that it smelled bad every time they used it. I informed them they had to change the bag. Well, my gosh, ...
Pros: cordless. light weight, works on all types of floors Cons: lasts only a few years
With 3 cats in house, my Eureka Cordless Quick-up is a cleaning tool I just couldnt live without. Especially now that Im unable to bend much but still like to have clean floors without cat fur, people hair, dust and other assorted items ...
Pros: Eureka Boss is excellent at quick cleaning, great on small carpets and bare floors. Cons: None
I first found out about the Eureka Boss Lite 96 Upright Vacuum while dining at a Friendly's restaurant in Pennsylvania. Instead of sweeping the carpeted floors with one of those old powerless sweepers, the waiter was using one of these cordless brooms ...
Pros: Super easy to use, light weight, does a fantastic job on area carpets, great price. Cons: The roller brush part doesn't detach. Vac has some trouble with sucking bigger pieces.
Thanks to Epinions, I found a positive solution to my stick vac quandary. The problem: I was eyeballing the Electrolux Pronto at Target. But with its $100 smackeroos price tag, my hubby was adamant on diverting my attention. He politely reminded ...
Pros: Lightweight and sucks. Cons: It could suck more and it's taxicab yellow (ick).
I purchased this little vacuum (in the picture, mine is the second one from the right) because I had wood floors for a time and sweeping every single day sucks. I didn't have a lot of money to allot for a vacuum so I went for what was on sale and looked...
Pros: Lightweight, easy to maneuver, goes under furniture readily, charges fast and holds charge, cordless, bagless Cons: Dumping dirt cup can be messy
I bought the Eureka 96 "Boss Lite" Cordless Vac after I killed my beloved Hoover lightweight vac by accidentally feeding it a metal screw. A word of advice to all light vacuum users - inhaling metal objects will destroy your vacuum's engine. Avoid them ...
Pros: Handy for quick clean ups, powerful, great on carpets Cons: Doesn't last long between charges, Doesn't do well on certain types of messes
I bought the Eureka Boss lite cordless vac because I have two preschoolers and I was tired of pulling out my big bulky vac every time they made a mess. I settled on this particular model for a couple of reasons. First of all, it's a Eureka which is...
Pros: removable rechargeable NiCad battery, more powerful than old model Cons: Crumbs sometimes fall out of the bottom when the unit is turned off
I have had a Eureka Boss Cordless for about 5 years now and the thing still runs. I just bought a new one and am happy with the changes Eureka has made. In general this is a great little appliance. It is perfect for small messes made by kids, and...
Pros: lightweight, powerful for cordless, inexpensive, charge lasts long, easy to empty Cons: virtually none that I have found
I picked this vacuum up at lowes for about 40 dollars about 2 months ago as a vacuum to use between major cleanings and have found it to be truly a great vacuum. It does a great job on my home which has about 2000 sq feet of carpet. It has yet to run low...
Pros: Convenient, cordless, cleans reasonably well Cons: Filter needs cleaning often. It's designed for light vacuuming only.
Our robot vacuum cleaner died after one year The robot was nice, but took a lot of maintenance. See my review at: h

So we had to get a new vacuum. We have two dogs ...
Pros: It's bagless, it's powerful, it's pretty small, it's dual mode. Cons: The dust trap must be cleaned out often and it is extremely noisy.
You're in for a 2-for-1 review, since I have used both the Eureka The Boss corded and cordless varieties of this vacuum cleaner. Actually, the two (the bright yellow eyesore and sleeker black model) are really very similar.
Eureka Cordless Quick-up - the BEST cordless EVER! by ssurfer19 ,Nov 08 '08
Pros: Great suction, settings for hard floor & carpet. Lightweight, easy to use, recharge & clean. Cons: Would be nice to see Li-Ion battery technology in the future for longer battery life.
Recently had a stray cat adopt me, and needed something to quickly sweep the litterbox area to keep it neat and clean. I have had numerous cordless vacs in the past for the same price for both home and car, but the performance of those didn't come near matching the Eureka Cordless Quick-up! This vac picks up quickly without having to go over the area over and over as with the other cordless vacs in this category. I have also since used this to sweep up the hard-floor surfaces in the home. A product either has to be very, VERY good - or very VERY bad in order to instigate me writing a review for it. I would recommend this product to everyone looking for a quick pickup vacuum.
Great Cordless Vac - convenient! by dltaveira ,Jul 06 '07
Pros: Lightweight, cordless, button easily switch from floor to carpet, good suction Cons: Dirt cup fills up quick but I don't really mind that.
I just bought the purple Eureka Quick-up and already love it.
I have mostly hardwood w/ a few area rugs that get linty nearly every day. It was such a hassle to pull out the canister vac, switch heads for floor and rug then drag it around, unplugging it and replugging it since it didn't reach all rooms.
Now, with the Eureka Cordless Quick-up, its a handy lightweight cordless vac, so I just grab it and go! With only a button to switch from floor to carpet, it picks up everything. I just carry it around from room to room and it does the job. No more cords to plug and unplug and wind up and unwind, No more dragging around a canister and switching carpet and floor heads.
I also got it for a huge bargain; only $24.00 at Target!
The dirt cup is rather small so you do need to check it after each vacuum job. I've had uprights and canisters and for a home w/ just area rugs and hardwood flooring, I highly recommend this handy little vac.
Pros: Convenient Cons: Battery loses life, but that's to be expected of a rechargable battery.
We bought ours at Target for around $30. Overall, it's worth it. The battery lasts long enough for around 2/3 of our 2400 sq.ft. home on each charge and has pretty good power. The only downside is that the rechargable battery loses life over time. Figure you'll get a year out of it.
Stores easily in it's charging stand near where messes occur most, and comes with an extra battery. On/Off brush roll deep cleans carpets and is gentle...More at AJ Madison
