Lots of power, not so great chopping, terrible service

by hayeswildrick , Oct 12 '04
Pros: Powerful motor chops ice into snow
Cons: Hard to clean, poor customer service
I bought this after seeing a demonstration on HSN that showed the quad-blade turning ice cubes into snow in thirty seconds. Wow! What power. True to form, my children have enjoyed many a snow cone made in our quad-blade. Unfortunately, the second time ...

Got my hopes up

by watsonea4 , Jul 25 '07
Pros: Great at chopping onions and ice Suction cups on the bottom
Cons: Hard to assemble and turn on. Huge...not for people with limited counter or cabinet space
The infomercial on this product had me sold. Finally I could make pico de gallo without crying over onions. That is, if I could get the blasted thing to turn on. Now I'm not a 12:00 flasher here...I'm a computer tech and usually things like blenders ...

Great product! Does it ALL!

by free2bhome , Nov 28 '08
Pros: Powerful!  Compactly stores blades and spatula.  Processing bowl large enough to mix 1-1/2 lb. meatloaf.
Cons: Previously could not get replacment parts.  Now the processor appears to be out of stock.
My husband purchased the Euro-Pro EP91 Quad-Blade 6 Cups Food Processor for me after watching an infomercial.  I did not think I needed it and was not too thrilled until I ...

Broken and not able to use
by donnamarie33 ,Jan 22 '05
Pros: fast, no more crying with cutting onions
Cons: lid breaks and can not locate place to purchase replacement. Some foods cut too small
Quad Blade was a gift from my family and I was excited to use my first processor. The lid "nibs" which have to be engaged in two spots, then twisted to engage the motor never really worked easily. The second time we chopped with it, the "nibs" started to break off. Now, one year later, I can not get it to work because the plastic lid has broken and the safety will not allow it to start. It was doing a good job of cutting up celery and onion for soup base, but did not like the slicing or grating operation. Made vegetables too small for our family. Can not locate part to purchase new lid. Went to Euro Pro web site, put in the model # and clicked on "parts" and it seems they want me to buy a whole processor, because that is the only thing that popped up.

As It Promised
by taralynna ,Jun 08 '04
Pros: Not to loud. Does not slide around on the counter top. Chops uniformly.
Cons: I wish food tube (for slicing food) was round instead of oval.
I liked the idea of quad blades because I hate having the bottom half of whatever you put in the processor turn to slush while everything on top is still big chunks. This food processor has worked beautifully for me since Christmas '03. The slicing function is great, the blades are easy, I love the little storage area in the front and I kept the blade guards for safety and they have come in handy. I havent ever used the Kitchen Aid brand so I dont know if it works better... I will say though that I would buy another quad blade processor in a heart beat.

Piece of junk and lousy service
by alklig ,Aug 22 '05
Pros: Who knows? The product has never worked for me.
Cons: Lids break so processor cannot work, impossible to attach lid to base, lousy customer service
I bought the Euro-pro hoping to use the awesome quad blades. Well, I've never used it as it has never worked.

After owning it for six months, I attempted to use it. It took a while and a lot of strength to click the lid into place. Once it was in place, it was impossible to disassemble. My husband who is a big guy, had to struggle to disengage the lid. Of course, at this point, the tab on the lid broke and fell inside the processor itself. The processor was now broken.

I attempted to return it to Linens N Things but they no longer carried the product and wouldn't take it back. So I contacted Euro-pro who had me send the processor back to them for $25 plus $12 shipping.
They sent it back with a broken lid.

Well, after another six months I've just received a new lid
which arrived cracked but is usable. Well, my processor doesn't seem to work with it.

So I'll now call Euro-pro again and yell and nothing will happen. Basically, I've thrown out $100.

YOU CAN GET new parts for Euro-Pro Quad Blade food processor
by lipitorus ,Jul 10 '05
Pros: Good Processor, saves a lot of time
Cons: dropped the lid in the sink and the hinge broke. Not good Impossible to start.
You can get replacement parts for the Euro-Pro Quad Blade by calling (800)798-7398. I got on line at Euro-Pro.com and sent in a complaint to costumer service about not being able to get a replacement lid for this WONDERFUL food processor. They sent me an order form for all parts on the Euro-Pro Food Processor and an 800 number to call and order the parts. The product is good if you are very gentle with the parts.

I will see if I get them.

unable to find replacement parts Which Should not be needed in the first place
by jcnemeth ,Nov 22 '04
Pros: It'white The box was nice and it did work for easy jobs
Cons: Not really heavy duty and replacement parts seem impossible to find. .
While shreeding cheese the spindle and grating wheel broke down and I'm unable to find replacement parts. I'll buy another brand of processor to replace two parts. It seemed to work well prior to this breakdown. Spend a little more and get a better product.

Good power, tough to clean
by moser44 ,Apr 23 '06
Pros: Great power, steady when running
Cons: Tough to clean
We bought the Quad Blade when my wife and I went on the South Beach Diet. She has used it quite a bit for whole wheat pizza dough, which is pretty dense and works the food processor fairly hard. It has done a good job with the dough until recently when the dough blade broke. It also does a great job chopping vegetables.

Thanks for the number for the replacement parts !!!

Great machine !!
by mommyofone66 ,Oct 17 '07
Pros: chops everything including frozen veggies!!!easy to clean just rinse after use...
Cons: DO NOT PUT DISHWASHER !! hand wash ONLY !!
I have had my euro pro (model # EP91W) for years it has been great !!!! never a problem !!

My son did break the lid (don't put in dishwasher!!) and number was NOT listed on manual for replacement parts BUT I looked online and found the site -- and lid is less than 8 dollars to replace no big deal!! am VERY VERY satisfied with my processor which chops frozen veggies wonderfully when I preparing food ahead of time for my iguana!!!!

I use my euro pro on daily basis and it chops meat (I hate buying ground meat with all the disease you get these days rather make my own hamburger!)helps to make my own salsa - works great for kneading bread!! a low carbers best friend!!!!!

in case you need REPLACEMENT PARTS INFO here is the link to the site : http://www.euro-pro.com

wonderful product!
by sigh2meagain ,Dec 29 '07
Pros: does all it is expected to do with great ease motor does not lose power
Cons: no cons about this product
my husband bought this food processor for me almost 3 years ago. it's very easy to use and does all it claims to do. as for the clean up...all i do is place a little water into the container part insert the blades and give it a few pulses and it's clean. no big deal. the lid is not hard to engage as others have claimed. care has to be used with any appliance and many happy years will be repaid. the blades and other attachments can be placed in the upper rack of a dishwasher. as for the lid and container i hand wash them . i have had NO problems with this machine and highly recommend it to anyone . reading directions also comes in handy for the small appliance challenged. lol!
