eVGA.com was the manufacturer of my most recent video card, the 5900SE. I was very happy with the performance of this card as well as the company in general, so when I started looking for a new video card this summer, I again looked to eVGA. Why ...

Pros: Ultimate card for any type of gaming. Cons: The power requirements. :(
No comparison, this, by far is the best video card manufactured since the GeForce 4. I have had this card for about a year now, and it has been a real treat! The software included is marvelous. This card will run the following games at a very nice speed:
DOOM 3 -- HALO: CE -- BATTLEFIELD 2 -- FAR CRY --
and it will run ANY games at a fast speed with AAx4 enabled
within a year or two. The res. can display over 1600X1200
@ 85Hz with ease. It is also an EXCELLENT card for LCD's.
If you want fast gameplay, and you aren't on to much of a
budget, pick this one up, totally worth it.
Great card for a 17" LCD monitor by gfarce ,Apr 13 '05
Pros: same core as a 500 dollar video card
Overclock memory 100mhz and core 50mhz
Cons: Overclock gives no benefit it seems
Seems neutered another way from the other two models
Card is perfect for 1280X1024 resolution on a 17' monitor. The low amount of Ram kills the card above that resolution or if you enable 4X anti-aliasing on 1280X1024 on a graphic intensive game. Don't worry about the fact that the GT has DDR3, DDR3 only means the memory is higher speeds than DDR can reach. The card can unlock 4 pipes and 1 vertex shader, but when I experimented the only boost I could get was when I opened a vertex shader and overclocked to 375/815. I got 7 extra frames in Doom 3 which got me over the 60fps mark (1280X1024 2XAA 8XAF with High Quality) with the vertex shader opened and the overclock. Everything else gave me the same fps, even with the pipes and vertex unlocked with an overclock.
