Pros: Sorta looks like a Stratocaster
Cons: Everything else
The Fender Stratacoustic acoustic-electric guitar is for all intents and purposes an acoustic version of Fender's venerable Stratocaster electric guitar. If you viewed this guitar straight on (and from a distance), you could almost mistake the...
Pros: Compact, looks nice, decent action when set up correctly, sounds great plugged in. Cons: Sound and tone are flat when not plugged in. Body is too light.
I am an electric player who was looking for his first acoustic. I have played some really nice acoustics with nice low action, and some really terrible ones that made my fingers bleed. I needed something small, quiet (don't want to wake up the...
A lot of the flak this guitar gets comes from people who buy it mail order and then get upset because it doesn't sound like an Ovation. It has a 2" deep fibreglass body people - what do we THINK it'll sound like?
Pros: Very cool design and notes are clear and loud. Cons: backing can become agitating
The new Fender Stratacoustic combines smooth acoustic sound with electric sound when plugged into an amp. The neck is very thin for easy movement up and down the fret board. The Stratacoustic has a state of the art plastic backing that can be annoying...
Pros: Looks good, plays well. Good price. Cons: Try tuning a hollow guitar when the band are going diddly diddly crash bang.
I am always surprised when I read poor reviews of this guitar. I love it. I've had two so far, both black. I dropped the first one onto a hard floor, which cracked the the body, and that was the end of that. So if you own one treat it with love, care and ...
Pros: 15 words maximum? the only thing i can describe here is how ludicrous thelimit is Cons: see pros
don't let these naive kids set you on the wrong path about this guitar. it looks nice, and stays in tune well - which is all i can really say in terms of the products pros. it is very twangy, and has no bass - which comes from the small frame and the ...
Fender Stratacoustic 2006 Walnut finish by jim923 ,Oct 31 '06
Pros: Great looks, sound, and action. Cons: The pegs were extremely difficult to remove. Had 2 break trying to remove them.
Was looking for just this type of guitar to play at home and for a young student to learn on also. This was perfect. A low price, a thin body and neck, with very nice action. The sound is very clear unplugged and through an amp, even better! After years in a band, playing a Fender Strat as my favorite (for sound and that great, thin neck), I was looking for that same playability in an acoustic. This guitar has it, unlike most acoustics, with their boxy bodies, fat necks, high action, and medium guage strings for any decent sound.
