Better than the Rebel 2000!!

by soldfromwi , Apr 14 '03
Pros: Lightweight, Easy to Use, Large Screen Display,
Cons: No Panoramic mode
I bought my Rebel 2000 just six weeks before I bought my Rebel Ti. I am going to photography school and they recommended we have at least two cameras. Both the 2000 and the Ti are great cameras, but there are a few differences that make the Ti a ...

Great learning camera at a great price!

by goonsby , Dec 31 '04
Pros: Easy to learn how to use, great versatility, good value.
Cons: Camera makes some decisions for you that you may want to make yourself.
I chose the Canon Rebel Ti because I was looking to get out of the point and shoot category, but I still wanted something that would be easy to use for those quick shots. This camera and I have been a perfect fit! It is very easy to use, a quick read ...

Canon EOS Rebel Ti

Pros: Very sleek new design, easy to hold, auto focus and flash work perfectly

Super camera, even for beginners
by survey_shannon ,Dec 14 '05
Pros: Great for any level SLR user
Cons: Lots of knobs and buttons are intimidating
I bought this camera in early 2004, when I decided I wanted an SLR camera. I knew I wanted a Canon, and I got a decent deal on this one. There are lots of knobs and buttons, and I was really intimidated at first. There's options for advanced users (I can't remember any off the top of my head as I've never really used any of them). But for a beginning SLR user, there's the Auto Focus option. Also, some of the other options are pictorially labeled, so it's pretty easy to do a great portrait, action shot, etc. I love this camera, I would recommend it to any level SLR user.

We bought this camera before we went to Russia to adopt our daughter. Were we ever glad we did. The pictures we took of our little girl and the orphanage where she lived are absolutely awesome. It is very easy to use, very intuitive.

AWESOME camera!
by dclobx ,Feb 03 '04
Pros: Fantastic pictures!
Cons: Only size, but I'll get over it!
I bought this in October of 2003 after another compact 35mm went bust on my vacation. I am so pleased with the pictures that come from this. I am an avid scrapbooker so clear photos are important to me. I have a Fuji FinePix for emailing photos, but the Rebel is what I use the most. I bought another lens (up to 300mm) on eBay and it's a dream! The shots of my kids playing sports on are amazing. Not blurry at all. I'm so happy I made the switch to this SLR, even though it can be cumbersome, I'm learing to juggle this, the Cannon Camcorder, and the Fuji FinePix (with a little help from my husband!)

Great first time 35mm SLR...
by aljenit_dt3000 ,Nov 08 '02
Great first time 35mm SLR Camera with clear controls and LCD display making it easy to start immediately. The 7 point red focus dots can be hard to see, especially when on Selective Af point lock.Overall very impressive.Excellent prewind film specification.Met my expectations, though I think first time 35mm SLR buyers should make sure they can reach all function buttons comfortably not just the basic combinations.
