Pros: It's vocabulary is amazing, including words from different South American countries Cons: Not the best of it's class, needs better screen, restarts often
I bought this dictionary with the hope of improving my sketchy Spanish. I went to the nearest electronic store and bought the most expensive one I could find. I figured that you would get what you pay for and I received mixed results. The ...

not worth the $$$

Pros: An extensive vocabulary, verb conjugations are great, easy to use. Cons: The display screen is horrible and looks like a calculator.
I have been using this translator for a few months and am in search of a new one. The display screen is awful! It is dim and eve though it has a backlight it doesn't seem to help. I have also had problems with it shutting off on its own. There are better translators out there for a fraction of the price.

You can do better for less!

Pros: It has an extensive vocabulary and does an excellent job at conjugating verbs. Cons: The display has the poorest contrast and brightness of any product I've ever seen.
Spanish is critical to my career so I bought this translator as a tool to help me conjugate my Spanish verbs. I bought the most expensive one available at CC thinking it would be the best one. I've been using this translator for one year.
The good: It has an extensive vocabulary and does an excellent job at conjugating verbs. But you can get this functionality at half this price. The bad: The real Achilles heal for this translator is its display. It has the poorest contrast and brightness of any display on any product I've ever seen. Dark blue text on a dark greenish-blue background. For this reason alone I would not recommend this translator. But theres more. The speaker isn't quite loud enough. The learning exercises are extremely juvenile. A lot of what your paying for in this model is the ability to connect to a computer; the ROLODEX which is just an address book and the expansion capabilities. None of which I need or find particularly useful.
