20 cu. ft. Frigidaire FFU20FC4A Upright Freezer

Pros: Lots of shelf space, front loading
Cons: Very Short MTBF due to what the service tech's state is a cooling design flaw.

Purchased 16 months ago. (07-2003)
& we have had 2 major failures resulting in slow response warranty service calls.

Services Tech's from both SEARS and a local Atlanta Company
have indicated they see so many of these with the same problems that it must be a design problem. To date we have lost more Frozen meats due to repeated failure than the freezer cost us when it purchased at LOWE's home center.

SERIOUS $$$ NOTE:
To date neither food spoilage has been reimbursed by Frigidaire.

Durability of this freezer is a serious problem. I have lost the entire contents when the temperature rose and have had problems with customer service on the warranty. I finally decided to give up and buy a new one--it is not a Frigidaire.
