Pros: Value for money. Clear crispers/bins. Exterior appearance. Cons: Freezer is small. Audible fan. Shelves are not split. Freezer control issue.

Pros: Energy efficient, Keeps food cool, Fairly affordable Cons: Noisier than I would expect, Does not use space wonderfully.

Frigidare FRT18S and related models to be avoided

Pros: Technically meets energy star requirements. Cons: Structurallly weak door hinges and door shelves.
I own and maintain apartments, so I own lots of refrigerators. Two of the Frigidaire refrigerators, FRT18S and FRT18H have developed precisely the same problem. One, now under extended warranty, supposedly can't be fixed.
The refrigerator compartment door is designed to hold lots of drinks, milk cartons and such. When fully loaded down, the door hinge sags leaving a gap between the frame and the door gasket. As a result there is not an air tight seal, and moisture from room air ends up as ice building up in the freezer.
The FRT18H with glass shelves also has the problem that the shelves are too weak to adequately support food that is likely to be placed on them. Put a gallon container of milk in the center and watch it sagg.
