I bought this camera for my teenage sister's birthday present. She is traveling to China this summer so my goal was to find a good quality camera that would be good for everyday teenage snapshots and be able to give her quality memories of her travels. ...
Pros: Ease of use, picture-quality and price, video output Cons: No audio with the video function, poor handling in low-light conditions
I bought this camera about a year ago in late Winter of 2005. I was upgrading from a previous FujiFilm model, which was 2.0 megapixels. The camera takes nice pictures and the overall usage is not too tough. It comes with a 16mb XD Picture-Card, but I ...
Pros: Very good pictures, fits in pocket, point and shoot. Great value. Cons: Point and shoot.
I bought the A340 with cradle for $150 at circuit city. Came with a set of rechargeable batteries. 4 mega pixels. For that price a little lag between pictures is just fine. Pix quality very good, usually shoot at highest resolution. Bought a 512 meg ...
Pros: cheap,
4.1 mega pixels,
3x optical zoom,
reasonably small, Cons: Disappointing results,
no Autofocus in low light,
no sound in movies,
no manual control
I bought this camera for $199 and my main reason for choosing it was the fact it was the cheapest I could find which had both 4.1 mega pixels and an optical zoom. Unfortunately I have to say that I have generally been disappointed with the results ...
Pros: Fantastic pictures, great included software, very easy to use. Cons: Little tough on batteries, long delay between shots.
Listen, if your looking at this camera you are either on a budget or looking for a first time digital camera to learn how they work. If this is what your after then this camera is outstanding. Very, very simple to use with extremely easy features to ...
Pros: ability to protect photos, value, and more Cons: battery life, comes with small memory card
I haven't used many of the advanced features, but so far, what I find nice is ease of use. It took me about a day to figure out how it worked, and then I was snapping pictures left and right. The con is that when using the LCD screen (which can, by the ...
Pros: Easy to use, with great picture quality and no delay. Cons: none
This small but sturdy digital camera can practically fit in the palm of your hand. It is thin but not skinny, and the picture screen is big, but not giant. I got this as a gift for Christmas this past year. My husband and I didn't get one for our ...
Pros: Durable, easy to use, great photo quality. Cons: Software included could have more features. A little slow between pictures.
We have had this camera for over two years and have yet to have a problem with it. We use it daily, and sometimes several times during the day. Ours came with a dock for connecting to the computer. It is very easy to use and set up on the computer. The ...
A great entry level camera by smjester ,Mar 15 '05
Pros: Easy to use, low price and great pictures Cons: Mainly plastic construction
We bought this to replace an older 1 megapixel camera. I've only had it a couple weeks, but so far I can only find minor negatives.
My wife and I have taken about 80 pictures so far, and the original batteries are still working fine. The pictures are normally easy to focus with the viewfinder. You can take bad pictures, but you have to try. Pictures transfer really quick with the USB connection without really needing to install the software included with the camera. The resolution is far higher than pretty much all of the other cameras in this price range.
The only negatives I have are that the camera is made of plastic, so I am a little concerned about durability. Also, there is a separate cradle that you can buy that needs a specific adapter to match this camera. The adapter is included, but it looks really cheap. Like I said, there's not much bad I can say about the camera so far!
Pros: The Viewfinder really works, It's best pictures are taken using the higher setting Cons: You just can't take a good picture in the lower modes.
Does a great job for the smallest amount of money on the market. This little camera has a lot going for it for the price. You want find as good or as much that it will do in camera's costing $100 or more. If you are looking for a high end 4.23 Megapixel camera's for a low end price . This is it.
Pros: Easy to use, pictures look good. Cons: I haven't found any yet.
I really like this camera. It takes good pictures, and I'm pleased that it has a lens cover. I just bought it last week at Best Buy on sale for $129. I'd recommend it!
Great deal for the price, and simple to use too! by lilacattak ,May 11 '05
Pros: Phenomenal price, very easy to use, batteries last, great photo quality Cons: Nasty shutter lag, relatively few extra features
I got this for Christmas, not because it seemed like the best model for me, but because Best Buy was out of the Canon I wanted. I'm actually pleasantly surprised with how everything turned out.
Sure, it doesn't have the bells and whistles of, say, the Canon a75 (the movie mode isn't as fancy, and there are fewer manual settings), but for most people, I think this gets the job done, with much more simple and user-friendly features. Plus, with the Finepix, you get a 4.0MP camera for less than what many 3.2MP models go for.
Image clarity has been great on 98% of the the several hundred images I've taken, with exceptions in two categories: a)photos taken when the subject was moving really fast (only in 2 images I've taken), or b)photos taken when when the shutter lag made me take an image different from the one I had intended.
If you want to see some of the shots I've taken with this camera since Christmas, check the following link: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilacattak/my_photos
For the price it's gone down to (I've seen it as low as $130 at various places), it's just an amazing deal.
Changed my mind for the better by aaronavouris ,Jan 01 '05
Pros: High Quality Photos, good bargain for price Cons: Would have hoped for larger monitor than 1.5"
Before this past Christmas, I didn't think that I'd use a digital camera that much. Upon unexpectedly receiving this Fuji as a gift, I've since changed my mind. I had been looking at a few models of some different brands in the stores, but hadn't come across this one.
Upon breaking it out (and not reading any instructions...as usual), I found the controls to be quite easy. Sliding the front open automatically turns the camera on, and deciphering how to take a quick picture, and delete one or all pictures wasn't tough at all.
The quality of the photos has been good so far, as I find myself using it much more often than I imagined I would. The one feature that annoys me a little is that the lens retracts after a few seconds of viewing pictures that you have already taken.
Wonderful inexpensive camera that is easy to use by royal63 ,Nov 10 '05
Pros: Lightweight, inexpensive, easiness, high quality pictures, low battery usage, and easy to use software program. Cons: The lag time. But after awhile, you get used to it.
I was given this camera as a gift and was pleasantly surprised in the quality and easiness to use this camera. It's lightweight, easy to figure out, eventually you DO get used to the lag time, and it's affordable!
