Pros: Compact size. Touchscreen. Widescreen. Quickpoint mouse, like IBM. Seperate battery display. Cons: Runs hot. Main battery duration. No LCD display. Quickpoint mouse. Lousy speakers. Needs all accessories.
If you are looking for performance, this is not the laptop to get. You might think that 800 Mhz is sufficient. You might be right, but you are wrong if you compare it to a regular Intel chip such as a Pentium III. I got a Compaq Presario running 766 ...
Pros: Touchscreen, tiny, great battery life, wifi, tiny Cons: USB 1.1, quite slow, VGA dongle instead of dedicated port
For 2 years now, my Fujitsu P1120 has been my portable machine. I almost never hang onto my laptops that long, but amazingly, after all that time, Fujitsu is still selling the same model with exactly the same configuration for the same price. How often ...
Pros: Light, small, great battery life, touch-screen, good built-in functions Cons: Slow and no built-in floppy or CD-ROM. Need second computer to install software.
The Fujitsu P1120 is a WORK-HORSE. I have had mine for just under 3 years now and I wouldn't do without it. It's small size is so convenient -- it takes just half the space of my full size laptop and is very light. I have the extended battery which ...
Pros: Tiny, feather-light, bright screen, built-in wireless. Cons: A tiny bit slower than I'd like, but it's not prohibitively slow.
I just recieved my Fujitsu Lifebook P1120 (P1000-series) laptop a couple days ago and already I am convinced it is the best computer I've ever owned. I bought it because it is so tiny and lightweight. I already have a very good, very heavy, Gateway ...
Lifebook P1120 is amazing by zeusenergy ,Dec 17 '06
Pros: Touchscreen! Battery life. Built-in lan and wireless. SMALL SIZE Cons: Wifi-B only, USB 1.0, slow compared to 2006 laptops
It's now 2006, almost 2007, and my P1120 is still the best small laptop that money could have bought me. I'm currently using it, and being a network engineer it gets quite a bit of use diagnosing and setting up networks and devices. Of course the speed is not as good as one would expect from a new laptop in 2006, but so what! I'd rather have the portability and full-size pc-card slot anyday. Of particular importance is the touch screen. It's wonderfully useful, and quite nice to look at as well. You can get one now online (used) for less than $600, and extended batteries are running around $70 including shipping. It can be useful even today if you can stand to wait a few seconds for apps to load. Mounts in cars VERY easily since it is so small, and touchscreens bode well to mobile uses!

Pros: Lightness, built-in wireless, battery life (new), very solid build, takes the knocks (tested). Cons: Battery life (old), screen size, no internal fan, processor a little slow but manageable
I have now got so used to this notebook that I can no longer bear to part with it and do the sensible thing and upgrade. It has been all over the world with me and proven itself to be bulletproof (not literally, or at least not tested!).
It weighs around 1kg or 2lb something so easily transportable and has built in wireless, which admittedly can be a little weak at times, but means in airports where signals are generally strong you can just spark up and do a few emails.
Screen size has its limitations when it comes to close detail work in powerpoint for example and I would imagine other attention to detail programs, but still very manageable.
The active screen is one feature which I have not really tested but have never felt the need to use it either.
If you are in a hurry, need to make a presentation or get on the internet, this machine is SLOW and I mean slow. The touch screen, mobility is great, but the so called battery life is not that long. I would suggest if you do not like watching grass grow, then I would get another small laptop.
