Pros: High Quality; attached Hand Vac; bagless; adjustable handle. Cons: Long hairs wrap around brush and will need to be removed every so often.
It all started about 7 years ago when I was first introduced to the concept of using a stick broom on my kitchen floor rather than the "age old" broom and dust pan. I bought a fairly cheap model and was so pleased with the ease and convenience that the...

Great vacuum if you never dirty your floor
by rristuccia ,Sep 04 '03
Pros: cheap, nifty features Cons: just doesn't work on carpet
While it may be inexpensive and easy to store, this vacuum lacks one important feature I look usually for in a vacuum: the ability to suck dirt out of my carpet. It seems to work pretty well on the tile floors in my kitchen and bathroom (in fact, it's small size makes it ideal for maneuvering around the obstacles in those rooms), but it just can't get the job done in any room with a carpet. Half the time, I end up picking lint off the floor with my fingers after running over it three or four times with the vacuum.
It really is shame this vacuum lacks the power to work on carpet because it really is a clever design. The handle collapses, allowing this vacuum to be stored anywhere. Also, this vacuum includes a detachable hand unit for getting into small areas. But none of these features are worthwhile if the vacuum can pick up dirt. As Tim Allen would say, this vacuum needs MORE POWER!!!

GE Combination Vac
by katperrr ,Jan 28 '04
Pros: Light weight, easy of use, doesn't wear me out before I'm done. Cons: Hand held part has a tendency to blow the dust around.
I purchased this vac to use in my sewing room in the attic. I got tired of lugging up my full size vac to do the job. I liked the Combo Vac so much that I lugged the big one up to the attic and left it and use the little down stairs exclusively.

Great play vacuum
by msmonih ,Nov 29 '03
Pros: Lightweight, easy to store, minimal noise, great dustbuster Cons: Little to no power, suction, poor vacuum cleaner
Think twice about getting this vacuum. While it is great for dustbusting that's about it. I have a dog and need to vacuum at least once a week if not every day due to his shedding. We had just moved, on a tight budget, and needed to vacuum bad. I purchased it and slowly became more and more disappointed with it. Has little to no power. To vacuum up the hair I have to run over the carpet a few times. But it does fine as a temporary fix until I can purchase a real vacuum cleaner with power. Again, a great dustbuster but not a great vacuum cleaner at all.

GE Combo Stick Vac is AWESOME!
by meshell3651 ,Nov 05 '04
Pros: light weight, no bag, easy to use, easy to store, multi-talented! Cons: NONE
This is the best little helper I've ever had! It is convenient, easy to store, and works like a dream! I keep it in the kitchen (mine is carpeted) for all the little crumbs or just for a quick touch up! I want to buy one for my mother-in-law for their 5th wheel trailer as they go to Arizona for 1/2 the year and it would be just perfect for that size of "home". Buy it, buy it, buy it! It is well worth the $ and a great investment!
