Pros: Compact size, neat appearance. Uses 2 std AA batteries. Unlimited length movie mode. Cons: Manual focus! no optical zoom. Best for brighter conditions.
This Gateway DC-T20 2 megapixel camera is an relatively inexpensive digicam with some nice features beyond the basics you would expect for something at this price. The primary feature which interested me in the first place was its compact size; it ...

Pros: Great price, easy to navigate control's, simple to upload picture's, good picture quality. Cons: slow power up, macro setting's are less then optimal, digital zoom is worthless.
If an entry level camera is what you are looking for and you are on a budget you should really check this out. I have been looking for a digital camera for a few month's so i could e-mail picture's to friend's and family. In this capacity the DC-T20 is a ...

A Great Camera For A Little Dough
by adman102 ,Dec 09 '04
Pros: Small size, price, SD card expandability, movie mode. Cons: Delay between shots, no optical zoom.
I purchased this camera about 6 months ago, primarily because of its price ($50 new on eBay). Thinking it would be a good spring board camera into something bigger and better in the future. A 128mb SD card was added after several months, which increases the picture capacity to over 150 pics, even on the highest resolution.
Price aside, this little camera is great! The pictures are quite clear and sharp, especially in normal to brighter light conditions. And even in low light, the pictures are more than adequate.
The downside to the camera is the long duration between shots and the lack of optical zoom. For a beginner camera, or one that will go with you anywhere, strongly consider this camera!

T-20 Gateway Branded Camera
by ironshield ,Sep 06 '03
Pros: Good Pictures, easy to use. Ultra small. Inexpensive. Cons: No optical zoom.
When I first saw the t-20, I couldn't convince myself that a camera for less than $150 would ever impress me. I wrong. This camera is packed with features, gives excellent quality photos, and is the simplest camera I've ever used. All the features you'd expect to find on a $200+ camera are here. A glass lens (not plastic), small size (smaller than a deck of cards), 2x digital zoom, clear LCD screen, simple menus, 8mb built-in memory (plus an SD memory card slot), video mode. And above all, it's 2 megapixel!
For $129.99 I can't complain.

Gateway's a PC company only
by ralph_fuhr ,Sep 21 '03
Pros: inexpensive Cons: poor customer service (never mentions cameras when calling in on the automated system)
Hopefully, you won't need customer service for your Gateway camera, because the website and customer service only knows PCs. When I called the service rep didn't know Gateway sold cameras. On the phone for 1/2 hour and every service rep was nice, just completely ignorant about their own cameras. Every rep told me that the phone system will change, that Gateway never thought to put any drivers on the web site ("because they are built into the operating system").
