Pros: price, large baskets, folds easily Cons: rough ride, cheap plastic wheels, bulky, too wide for many doorways, only 2 seating positions
I loved the Graco Metrolite stroller we used when my daughter was born, so relying on the name, we bought this one when my son was born 18 months later. I am very disappointed. The single stroller handles beautifully - turns easily and has a smooth ...
Pros: Easy to turn, large baskets, low pricetag, easy for kids to get in and out. Cons: Sometimes hard to manuever thru doors.
I bought this stroller when I had my second child 2 years after my first. Now my second is almost 5, and this stroller still sees a ton of use with her and her toddler aged brother. I find that I like the side by side manuverablity of this stroller, ...
Pros: price, storage, quality, turns well Cons: safety bar and canopy
I just opened my new Graco DuoRider side-by-side and am so excited! I did A LOT of research on side-by-side strollers and read several e-opinion reviews. I had a Graco travel system front-and-back for my twins and was so very happy with it for 3 years. ...
Pros: Washable seat covers. Easy to turn, hop curbs. Can be used with infant carrier. Cons: No cupholders; but large baskets can hold extra items.
I bought this exact stroller almost 2 years ago. I researched and compared several expensive double strollers, and this one won out each time. Its very lightweight (a plus for a small gal like me), so I can lift it in and out of my trunk with no ...
Pros: Storage baskets
Price
Storage baskets
Storage baskets
Cons: Seat cushions do not stay in place
No cup holders/trays
Fabric not removable for washing
I have had this stroller for almost 2 years. For the money, this stroller is good. The storage baskets are accessible and roomy. The problem with this stroller is that only the seat cushion is removable for washing. Actually it is a constant battle ...
This is a great twin stroller! by cheryl_as ,Nov 04 '03
Pros: Kids are comfortable, The baskets are HUGE, it fits through any standard door. Cons: Not the lightest but is manageable by even a small woman. I have no complaints.
This stroller was perfect for using with my twins once they were too big for their infant car seats. The girls love sitting next to each other and they can see each other well when the seats are upright (unlike some other side by sides which have a bar and fabric between the seats).
The baskets are huge which is a great help since young twins can't fit in a shopping cart so you may have to put all your groceries in your stroller baskets.
I lover this stroller and have used it forever. My girls are 3.5 and we recently used it in Disneyland. They were still comfortable in it and it is still in pretty good shape.
We even carried it onto the tram each day. It is not the lightest stroller, but it is very manageable.
Pros: Light, easy use, very manuverable, good storage, both seats independently recline, comfy soft seats. Cons: No cup holder/trays for the kids or adults.
We bought this stroller after suffering with a tandem stroller for a few months. Despite it's lack of trays for either the adult or child, this stroller is excellent and we have absolutely no complaints. It is light and easy to fold/unfold, it also isn't too wide to fit through doorways and such. We take it to malls, grocery stores, etc. and very rarely have any problems manuvering it. You can actually push and turn this stroller with one hand, even with two children. We have a 2 yr old and a 5 month old and it works great for both. If you think you need a double stroller, try this one first! I wish we did, we would have avoided a $160 mistake.
Pros: Seats 2 children
Seats lay back
Baskets are HUGE Cons: Kind of wide
Won't fit thru all doors, especially some doorways at the mall
I have owned 2 of these strollers. They held up pretty decent for the amount of use they got. Baskets are huge, the seats ore comfortable enough for the children.
Decent stroller for the money by thomasaaron ,Mar 06 '04
Pros: Huge basket, reclining seats, easy handling Cons: cheap wheels, lightweight canopy flys back with light wind, no cupholders
I looked into many double strollers and decided on the Duorider after much hemming and hawing. I decided that for the amount of times I would actually use a double I didn't want to invest alot of money. In the last year I have used this stroller maybe 10 times. It is usually easier to take the single and have my 2 1/2 yo walk when we go to the store or do quick errands. Having said that one of the front wheels literally shredded to pieces as we were out one day. The wheels themselves are pretty cheap plastic. Graco customer service was very good and sent out 2 new wheel assemblies for free. Since then though, the wheels squeak horribly and as the kids have gotten heavier feel somewhat wobbly. All the other doubles I have seen have better wheels, but this is also the cheapest, so you get what you pay for.
