Pros: Small, very portable, inexpensive, cupholders and armrests! Cons: The one with the back on it is better to sleep in!

Pros: easy installation and removal, cup holders, removable and adjustable arms Cons: sometimes follows the kid out of the car
After three years of hassling with "accurate" installation of various makes and models of car seats for a growing baby/toddler, it was a relief to finally hit booster seats at 40 pounds. Of course, there are still way too many choices with these also -- ...
Pros: SAFE!,easy to install, comfy, easy to clean, cup holders Cons: none so far
My daughter is 6 1/2 years old, weighs 55 pounds and is 50 inches tall and she needed a new booster seat for in my vehicle. She had a high back Graco style booster seat, but had outgrown that one height wise. I wanted a booster seat that gave her a ...
Pros: Ease of installation, Price, Cup Holders Cons: No backing (didn't really bother us)
When my youngest turned four, he was weighing in at 45 pounds. It is big for a child his age, but he isn’t heavy, just very, very, very solid. My wife and I knew that we had to upgrade his car seat because of his height and weight. We had already ...
Pros: Cooler rides, very durable, easy set up, removable arms & slide out cup holders. Cons: Falls out of the car upon child's exit.
I live in Texas, and since this is where I live, I have looked up my state's laws on car seats for children: * 545.412. Child Passenger Safety Seat Systems; Offense Subsection (a) as amended by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 618, * 1 (a) A person ...
We bought this seat for my son right after we were in an accident recently. The purchase was partly because my son needed a seat after the accident and because we needed/wanted an extra one for when I transport his friends or for when he goes to ...
Pros: Small and easy to put in the car. Affordable. Cons: Not enough support for back and neck for long rides. Stick with the full turbobooster.
I already own the Graco TurboBooster with the back but needed a second booster seat for my husband's vehicle since he is taking our oldest daughter to school. I needed something that was safe but easy for him to move out of the way for clients when not ...
Pros: keeps seatbelt positioned in the car and helps keep the child safe
great price Cons: no head support for sleeping child
seat can slide out from seatback, causing a gap
when it was time for my middle child to move out of his combination seat due to weight, height, and it not working as a belt positioning booster, I really didn't want to have to spend a lot of money to buy another booster. My older son already had a ...
Pros: Large padded seat with two cup holders. EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE. Cons: None.
Traveling via airplane with a child who requires a booster seat can be pretty tricky when you have luggage restrictions. And the rental car companies charge way too much to rent a car seat--up to $12 plus tax per day. This booster seat is so ...
Pros: Super simple to use, easy to move between cars. Easy to clean Cons: Slides around, no leveling system
We bought this to use in our van so we could gently recline the seat when our daughter fell asleep. (Note: Our van has belts attached to the seat, not the car, so the belt always is snug against the child - perfectly legal in our state. This might not ...
Pros: Light, comfortable, own cup holders. Cons: Arm rest covers come off easily
We purchased this booster seat after we had another baby and needed more room in the back seat. We paid about $20 at a retail outlet for the seat and found it soo easy to put together and place in the car. We did not purchase the seat that has the ...
not good if you take long roadtrips by rick83120 ,Apr 20 '07
Pros: -easy to install
-very light weight
-low price Cons: -inadequate padding for long trips
-cupholders too large
-included seatbelt tether doesn't work properly
This is an economical booster seat but I was rather disappointed with it despite the reviews I read here. I have what I would consider a review that is little more fair. It installs rather easily but don't bother with the cheap strap they include to guide the seatbelt to the child's shoulder. Unless your car was made more than 10 years ago, you have an elastic tether on each side. The cupholders would be great if they weren't so big that they don't really hold anything stationary (beware highway on-ramps). The seat padding is extremely inadequate and is borderline "simply cosmetic". Your child might not notice with short trips but we took a 5 hour road trip each way and the cheap foam material compresses to a point where they may as well be sitting on the plastic shell. I solved this problem by using an old "memory foam" pillow and trimming a section to insert under the seat cover. Now she's ready for all the long trips this summer.
Graco TurboBooster 8491 by tootles2000 ,Jun 30 '05
Pros: Portable, easy cleanup, removable cloth, can hold up to sixty five pounds or six years Cons: Arm rest pads are too easily removable leaving them misplaced.
I love the fact that the cloth comes off and easily washed, as well as it gives two cup holders.
Pros: Convenient!! Portable and lightweight. 2 thumbs up! Cons: No complaints with this one!!
Love it! Love it! Love it!-- This is the BEST booster seat. We recently had to purchase new booster seats because North Carolina passed a new law. We went on line and found this model. Our son, who had moved out of a booster, and now found himself back in one absolutely loves his new seats. He can get his own seat belt on without struggling. And he thinks the cup holders (there are 2 on this model) are cool. This seat conveniently goes wherever and whenever we do. All you do is just grab it up. NO MORE fighting with seatbelts!! We can't wait until our youngest is big enough for one of these. Another great product from Graco.
Portable, convenient , feel like a big kid by trillh ,Feb 15 '06
Pros: portable, convenient design, easy to enter/exit Cons: Does appear as safe because it is backless
My four year old began using this car seat a month or so ago and absolutely loves it. She feels that she is in a big kid seat, and enjoys pulling the seatbelt across herself and being able to unbuckle herself to get out after a lifetime of harness straps. There are arm rests, a retractable cup holder on each side, and the seat can be moved easily between cars.
I do wonder how safe this is compared to the booster seats with backs. While we have not had any problem with the seat shifting or sliding, it just does not seem as comprehensive a booster as those with added size and support.
To me, this is a perfect seat to use as a secondary seat when sending a child off in grandma's car, for occasional car pooling, etc.
