Pros: Great Specs
Supports Direct x 9
128 mb ram
8x agp support Cons: Not many games supporting directx9
requires 300watt power supply
Update I currently have played UT2004 with the highest settings and no problems! ATI is continuing to release drivers. They discontinued the card and released the 9600xt because the 9600XT is cheaper to make. The 9500pro does outperform it in ...

This card replaces my fried MSI GeForce Ti4400 my benchmark testing has prove the ATI's card to be equals in some tests and beats the rest. The main addavantage is DIR X 9, AA/AS stong. for the price you can not go wrong this card is supposed to go against the Ti4200, but it can match and even beat the Ti4600 LONG LIVE ATI

Pretty Good Card
by shadow_x99 ,Oct 26 '03
Pros: Inexpensive, Peforms, Great Customer Support Cons: Discontinued Product, Secondary Power Outlet Needed, Tends to Overheat.
Although Hardcore Gamer will tell you that the Higher Model like 9700 / 9800 are good, you can't miss the mark when you buy a 9500 Pro 128 MB.
A Fully DX9 Capable Card, able to play all DX9 Games with Great Graphics, with more than acceptable performance ( Over 40FPS, your eyes do not see it anyway )
Why pay 500$ US for a Card like a 9800 when you can play for about 150$ ( What I bought mine ), have a Warranty of 3 Year on it, and be most assured that it will perform in today's games and tomorrow's Game ( AKA Half-Life 2, Doom 3 )
Along with the new Catalyst Driver Suite, then you can really say that the Radeons are getting faster, getting better support.
Plus, if you are a Geek like me and want to run it on Linux, Official Driver Support is offered for Xfree86 !! Meaning, that you can use it on a Linux Distro, a BSD OS, and most others.
All you need is a good Air FLow in the System and you are ready to PLAY !
