I have been using the HP2300N printer for about 18 months, and I love it. Some reviewers indicated noise; mine sits right next to my desk and the noise doesn't bother me, even when I'm on the phone. I use it to print everything, even checks, which come out clear and crisp. I wish it had multiple trays but that is my only wish. I wish the rest of my office equipment functioned as well as this work horse. The ink usage is fine, I use one cartridge every 6 months and we go through a ream of paper every four weeks. I am constantly switching between checks, blank paper, labels, etc., and my printer has never jammed. I like everything about this printer.

I've been using my new HP 2300n for about one week now in my home office, and I love it. The graphics and text are clear and sharp. It does a wonderful job of rendering colored images in shades of gray without the annoying dithered patterns of my old laser.

Print speed is more than adequate.

I connected the printer to my wired home network where it is now used as a print server. Driver installation on multiple PCs was painless, and hooking to my network required nothing more than plugging in the cable.

The one thing I would ask HP to improve is to reduce the noise it makes while printing.
