Pros: Great pictures, features, size, price, and ease of use Cons: Goes through batteries quick (use rechargeables), only two picture sizes
I was a skeptic when HP came out with their line of cameras, but since I work in electronic retail I got a chance to play with it (and all other cameras) before choosing to buy it. Here's my list of reasons why I purchased it over other cameras: - 5.3 ...
Pros: Good pics for a camera in this price range. Pretty easy to use. Cons: Takes some effort to figure it all out. Not as good as high end 35mm.
I’ve worked with the HP PhotoSmart 935 for about a year, but it’s been loaned out to students more than at my house. Recently, I’ve been able to get really serious about the camera and getting to know it and how to do digital photos. This is, in large ...
Pros: Outdoor photos are excellent! High level of detail. Cons: Low light, non-flash photos not very good; slow capture speed at times.
I had been wanting a new camera since November 2002 when my film one became unreliable (film advance unreliable; shutter unreliable). Between November 2002 and December 2003, I used my wife's film camera. Much better than my old one, and I got some great ...
Pros: Lightweight, durable, easy to use, more features than you can shake a stick at. Cons: Perhaps battery life. Flimsy lens cover.
For my birthday this last summer, my husband insisted on getting me a digital camera. Don't get me wrong, I wanted one...I was just a tad concerned money-wise. Let's face it, these puppies aren't cheap by any means. We did a LOT of research and finall ...
Pros: Good pictures, video / sound mode Cons: Too many to mention -- battery life, bulkiness, view finder, shutter time, etc. etc. etc.
I am very confused as to why people are writing positive reviews about this camera. I have a 2.2 megapixel camera and I've been wanting to upgrade to a 4++ megapixel camera and this seemed like a good deal -- it was also recommended by the Circuit City ...
Pros: Good outdoor shots, 5MP!, good manual controls, goo white balance and exposure Cons: not great movies, indoor shots noisy, strange autofocus, small and battery-eating lcd
I bought this camera at fry's for only $177. It was simple to configure when it started up. I like the look and feel of the body too. Once set up I took some test shots and got mixed results. Outdoor shots are good but low light indoor shots have a ...
Pros: Great quility, small, nice LCD, good zoom Cons: HORRABLE battery life
I had never had a digiital camra before. i am a little 12 year old bill gates. Like all boys and men i never read the insturction manual. but you dont even need to. The ease of the camera is great. just a couple of buttons to move around the...
Got this for my BDAY and love it! by pkboucher ,Jan 11 '08
Pros: user friendly, easy to use, great software! Cons: I have not found one in three years
I received this as a gift for my birthday three years ago and loved it so much that I got one for my daughter for her birthday and for my parents and in laws for each one of their anniversaries!
It is so easy to use and with the enclosed software for your computer, you can edit pics, email them and make beautiful copies (including enlargements) that look as good as the original that you would take to a pharmacy to have your pictures printed.
My parents and in laws who are not very computer or mechanically inclined, also have found it very easy to use.
I would recommend this produce to anyone looking for a digital camera that is very affordable.
Great camera but it eats batteries by mom2tsl ,Jan 15 '05
Pros: tons of options, quality photos and ease of use Cons: batteries
I loved the camera but ended up returning it because I just could not keep up on the batteries it loves them. I upgraded from a 2.2 camera, this camera is definately a dream with the options and ease of use, definately do need a card for more capacity.
I now got a 5.1 samsung that I love with all the same options a little cheaper than the HP but it has a ac adapter option.
I have had this camera for less than a year and it has to be absolutely the worst digital on the market. Battery life is so pathetic that I find myself altering my picture taking to conform to the cameras battery consumption (and I don't even think about using the lcd screen).
Picture quality is good, but the camera itself is not user friendly and a lot of work has to be done to achieve the right lighting for shots.
I had a fuji finepix 2600 that was much easier to use and took much better pictures.
Awesome little camera!!! by celinedoll ,Mar 27 '05
Pros: Everything! Just LOVE this camera! Cons: None
I've had it for well over a year now and I just LOVE it!! I think this camera ROCKS and LOVE EVERY picture I take with it!! As for the battery complaints, you just need to use rechargeables and then they last MUCH MUCH longer! Also, some props go to HP because my son jammed the telephoto part by pushing it in and I FREAKED out thinking it was all over, but I called HP and told them the story (spoke to someone in India, I believe) and their CS absolutely ROCKED!!! They replaced my camera two days later completely FREE!!! Oh, I was SO relieved!! Now THAT'S a warranty! LOL
When it was working, this was a great camera. Unfortunately, my third one has just died and HP will no longer replace it. All 3 died the same way. The first one died a week after I got it, right before my European vacation...my primary reason for purchasing it. >:( I kept good care of them but it seems that if they get jostled at all, they die. The camera freezes up immediately after turning it on and the batteries have to be taken out to reset it. My little sister had 535(?) that she beat absolutely abused but never had any problems. Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed and I will not be buying any more HP cameras after this one. I'm surprised that no one else has mentioned/encountered this problem.
Pros: Awesome Pictures Cons: Battery life sucks, and shutter speed is slow.
The body of the camera is a little boxy, but still functional. My pet pieve after having used this camera for 2 years is that the battery life is awful! It doesn't last longer than 4 minutes, which makes it hard to get many pictures taken before you have to replace the batteries. It's an irritation and an expensive problem. This camera does take amazing pictures when the battery is full. Shutter speed can be slow. The LCD screen is small but adequate. It has a decent zoom lens. The camera comes with nice software that is easy to use for exiting pictures, cropping etc.
