by henryarnold , Jun 22 '03
Pros: Records to DVD-R, Relatively Small Size, Sharp Picture
Cons: Slow startup, DVD Media is a little more expensive and not as readily available
I bought the Hitachi DZMV350A two months ago. It is a quality unit of small size and weight. The outside panels are made of either stainless steel or tight fitting plastic. The unit fits in my hand comfortably with controls easily accessible with your...

Pros: The Hitachi DVD Camcorder is worth buying.
Cons: You can not record stills on a DVD-R disc with the Hitachi DVD Camcorder.
I have a Hitachi DZ-MV350A DVD Camcorder. To me, it's just like a DVD recorder. Recording on Disc When you record a movie on the little mini 8 cm DVD-R disc, you can pop it right into a DVD player or computer to watch your movie. First, you will ...

Hitachi DZ-MV350A
by jkirkm ,Jul 12 '04
Pros: Compact/Ease of use, software allows quick and easy DVD creation. Very good camcorder over all...
Cons: None at the moment..........................
Hi All,

I recently purchase a Hitachi DZ-MV350A Camcorder. I am very pleased with the purchase and the features of this camcorder. I like the editing features though somewhat simple but they are effective. I did some video footage of my Anniversary on a DVD-Ram disc and then burned a DVD-R on my computer with no difficulties. The supplied software is basic/simple but it does the job. For out the box easy use and DVD creation I like very much. I am hoping that it last a lot longer than my JVC camcorder which I used about 5 times and then died(very disappointed with that purchase).

Pros: Editing functions are simple and end product is outstanding. Hard to make mistakes.
Cons: Cost of discs is high, but quality is worth it.
I have had the camcorder 6 months and use it for sports. Editing games to focus on highlights is simple and easy. Transfer to VHS tapes for colleges is simple and easy. Recommend to anyone filming sports activities. There is no better camera.
