Pros: Space saving design, quality of product, AccuSet Cons: None
Click for the Full In-depth review! I didn’t really want to buy a humidifier, but when my child got sick and the doctor said one may help it was no question. It was time to pick one up. So I went to the store with a humidifier on my mind. I saw many ...

Pros: Humidity replaced quickly and accurately with digital settings. Cons: Tricky marketing - doesn't hold 10 gallons...refill indicator light stays on.
First, it must be stated that the unit I have is the Holmes 3655u which is shown in Epinions as the 3650. They have the pictures switched. You can see the difference in the picture which contains a filter check/indicator above the Rh LED display. I ...

Pros: Humidifies the whole house when the filter is not dried out. Cons: A brand new filter dries out on low speed even if the tanks are full.
I bought this humidifier and I have had good and bad experiences with it. The good things about it are that it works great for the whole house when the filter is wet enough and it is not too dry in the house when I turn it on. The humidity level on the ...

Problems keeping filter wet and working.......
by riglemon ,Mar 04 '06
Pros: When filter is saturated it will humidify the rooms nicely. Cons: The filter/wick dries out even when tanks are full of water.
I have owned a Holmes humidifier before and needed a replacement. I bought the new model HM3655 and am disappointed with it's performance. Even though the water tanks are full the filter/wick dries out and seems to stop humidifying the room. So I am constantly having to pull the thing apart to soak down the filter/wick which then starts the humidifier working properly till it dries out again.

HM3655 Humidifier is Truly a Piece of Junk
by rscottt ,Feb 12 '07
Pros: Absolutely none. Cons: Plenty. See write up. Just a very poorly designed piece of equipment.
Terrible quality control. Returned first unit because refill light stayed on and one container did not drain into the unit. The second unit had a burned out LED light bar from the start. Unit cycles on and off constantly, should not be designed to do that with 1% change in humidity. Filter wares out quickly and needs to be replaced. I believe the unit does not shut off when empty. Would run forever if you went on a winter vacation and left it on.

Don't buy this one
by nancyd0808 ,Nov 17 '07
Pros: Tanks were lighter than old model Cons: Everything else
Bought this model to replace Holmes humidifier that served well for 7 years. Agree with other poster that box misleads, as the tanks on this were smaller than the old model. Bought it yesterday, it's going back today.
Right out of box, the motor would cycle in constant bursts of several seconds. Very annoying, especially near a bedroom! The fill light never went out.
