Hoover S1156 Sidewinder Handheld Vacuum

Pros: Long cord, fairly sturdy and heavy duty feeling.
Cons: The long cord is about all that is good about this product.

I bought this product to clean my stairs. Unfortunately, it is being returned. The "sidewinder" function of turning the cleaning head is a good idea, I just did not find the vacuum powerful enough to really pick up the dirt. Actually, I had a few threads in/on the carpet, I loosened them, and it still took 2-3 times before they were picked up. Hoover is known for making vacuums, but I would not recommend this one.

I'VE TRIED SEVERAL HAND HELD VACUUMS OVER THE YEARS, THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS!! LIGHTWEIGHT, POWERFUL,EASY TO USE. I HAVE A COUPLE OF THESE IN MY HOME NOW AND ARE LOOKING TO BUY TWO MORE FOR FUTURE USE SINCE THEY ARE GETTING HARD TO FIND. ANYONE THAT HAS A COMPLAINT WITH THIS VAC DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT PROPERLY.
