Pros: Powerful Small Cute Easy to use Reliable Cons: Can't think of anything
This vacuum literally will suck the vinyl off your floor if you let it! I agree with others here who praise its sheer power. It comes with only four tools, but I have been satisfied with them, especially the ingenious mini-beaterbar tool that is powered ...
Pros: Good Price, Great Suction, HEPA filter, Quiet! Cons: Brittle (and too few) Tools, Cord could be longer
My mother bought this for her house and being the helpful son that I am I have used it a considerable amount of times around the house. Features List: -Patented WindTunnel Technology The suction on this thing is great. It makes short work of ...
Pros: Efficient, powerful, easy to use. Cons: The larger attachments don't store onboard so they are often not where I am cleaning.
I've had my Hoover WindTunnel Bagless canister vac for over a year now and I've used it alot. With six cats, two children and a woodland out back, we have loads of foreign matter that needs vacuuming regularly. I am impressed with the quality of this ...
Pros: Powerful suction, easy to use tools, quiet, HEPA filter, bagless. Cons: None so far.
I was looking for a replacement for my heavy upright when I started looking closely at the S3755. I love the sheer POWER I get from the WindTunnel S3755. It's more powerful that my shop vac but much easier to use. It's a quick change to use the tools ...
Pros: Canister design is fantastic, works perfectly.
Cons: Power Head and nozzle are clumsy. Dust Brush is nigh unto useless.
I am writing this review because I bought it based on the reviews I could find (epinions and elsewhere), and I believe all in all, it's over rated. There are some awesome aspects to this machine, but there are some real duds as well. My convictions are ...
Pros: small agile no bags Cons: parts break less suction over time over-priced hard to clean expensive replacement parts
I purchased this vacuum 2 years ago after reading several good reviews, and to get an addition Hoover canister vac for one floor of our large house. It worked well at first, yet soon started to malfunction. Our 15 or so year old Hoover "Futura" ...
Pros: lightweight, quiet for first month. Cons: suction decreases over time, poor design, expensive, poor quality, poor workmanship, cheap parts
Liked it at first, good suction. Then headlight went out 1st month-no big deal-don't use it. Then beater motor went out at 4 months-had it and headlight repaired under warranty-headlight went out 1st week after repair. Canister tips over, hose too short for normal vacuum strokes, wheels do not roll on carpet easily, hose contact pins no longer make constant contact at any connection, telescoping wand no longer stops as rubber washer moves up and down and won't hold it in place, wand no longer removable from brush motor attachment as "step-on" release latch broken inside, filter requires frequent cleaning and has lost suction with time even with regular maintenance. Hoover/Maytag would not do anything about this 18-month-old vacuum which still looks relatively new. I am VERY disappointed in this product. I need to use it several times a week on a 3500 sq.ft home with one dog and 5 household members. It was expensive and the "automatic floor/carpet height adjustment" does not exist. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. You will be disappointed after a few months unless you only use it once a week and have little/no incoming "dirt".
More than adequate for the price by amandayv ,Jul 13 '05
Pros: Suction far exceeds expectations for the price, lightweight and QUIET. Superb mini power head function. Cons: Skeptical if accessories will last. They are thin and probably brittle. No swivel power head
I bought this to replace my old Hoover dinosaur that was noisy, heavy and worn out. I expected to pay more for a replacement. I bought it primarily based on the fact my previous Hoover lasted 20 years!
The first thing i noticed was how quiet it is and how the suction was trying to pick up the carpet as well as the dirt!!
I particularly like the mini power head. The spinning brush did a superior cleaning job on my upholstery, chair pads, steps and throw rugs. You can adjust the suction to not pick up corners of rugs.
Hoover S3755 WindTunnel Bagless Canister Vacuum is junk! by mfell2112 ,Jul 27 '08
Pros: None Cons: Read the review. It is by far the worst vac i have ever owned.
This thing spits dirt and dust out in all directions. I can feel dirt hit my feet while i am vacuuming. Put it on the high setting and the brush stops spinning on berber carpet. It has good suction but the flow of air is no good. I can't understand why this would get good reviews. My Kenmore cannister vac was way better than this thing.
Maybe the version with the bag is better. by phclar1 ,Jun 06 '07
Pros: Suction, retractable long cord, quiet and reasonably light weight Cons: Really small dust reservoir and terrible mess to clean
I like vacuum in principle- the suction is great. BUT- the dirt reservoir is pitifully small and cleaning it is a nightmare! What a mess! I can't even make it through a single vacuuming of my 2 bedroom condo without needing to empty the reservoir. If they could just make it larger and if it always had a bag, maybe it would be better. Has some good features, but after owning it for 2 1/2 years the motor on the roller unit is nearly dead.
Pros: Very quiet, incredible suction, easy to empty dust bin, retractable cord, several suction settings. Cons: Dust cup fills quickly but it's worth it because your floors will be really clean!
After a lot of research and shopping around, we decided to purchase the Hoover WindTunnel Bagless (we found it cheapest on Amazon). I'm a bit of a vacuum cleaner freak, and this is by far the best vacuum cleaner I've ever owned. We're really clean people, but the first time we vacuumed with this vac, we could not believe the amount of dust and cat hair it picked up! I highly recommend this vac for people with bare floors and/or rugs. We have two cats and our house is now spotless. You can glide seamlessly from bare floor to area rug without having to change accessories. There's also a handy furniture/stair tool with that works just great.
I have owned this vacuum for about three years. I love the strong suction and the ability to easily adjust the level of suction. It works well on floors, carpet, rugs and stairs. The canister is easily emptied and I just clean the filter bu taking outside and banging and brushing till clean, though I do keep a spare filter so I can occasionally wash.
The down side is my machine has been breaking piece by piece and is expensive to fix. First the electrical conduction run through the hose to control the head. A break in the hose and the head no longer works...$150.00 parts and labor. Next the wheel broke off. Then the push in button that allows you to easily change the tools or suction head. All in all, after three years I need a new one. When I spend $200.00 on a vacuum I expect it to last longer than three years.
Pros: It will reach under a bed. Cons: Container aggravating to clean. Not great suction for animal hair.
I am writing this as I've just left mine in the kitchen floor not working again! Every time I use it I get a runny nose from dealing with emptying the container. Stuff gets stuck and I must use my hands to remove it. The filter must be cleaned by hand each time I use it. The container cannot make it through an entire house of cleaning because it is too small. We live in an average home. I wish it came with a money back deal because I would have returned it within a week. Do not buy this machine!
I Love this vacuum. 100% satisfied!!! by bh7675 ,Mar 23 '05
Pros: Powerful suction, easy to clean and use, great accessories. Cons: So far nothing. A serious contender in the vacuum market.
The suction power is unbelievable. There are three suction power levels. I like the strongest one for the carpets and the less power for bare floors. It is easy to empty the dirt bin and wash the filter. It works much better than my previously owned Kenmore Progressive canister vac(which died after 41/2 years of use). I find the mini turbo head to be perfect for vacuuming the carpeted stairs. Overall, this purchase is well worth the price.
So far, I have not found anything wrong with my vacuum.
Pros: Suction, telescoping wand, price Cons: small on-board tools
I bought this vacuum before researching it (so not like me) because 4 days before Christmas my Dirt Devil died after less than a year. As the first canister I have owned I have to say I love it. The suction is awesome and I love that you can choose the amount of suction. The only complaint I have would be the size of the tools but on the same note I love that they are hidden on the canister. I also loved the price as I was considering a Dyson but so far I am very pleased with the Hoover.
