This hotel offers the best overall value of any hotel I've ever stayed in...ever. I'm a spoiled American with high expectations. Hotel Lucia has the cleanest building and hotel room I've ever seen, including five star hotels in the United States. There was a large wardrobe for storage and a flat screen TV. The room furnishings were all updated and tasteful. The multilingual staff was generous, friendly, and extremely patient with answering our many questions. The location was convenient and we even managed to find free parking both nights (not easy in Vienna). The breakfast was pretty good, the hotel security even better, and we had a computer with free internet in the lobby (so we could avoid the expensive WIFI charges you'll encounter in Austria and Germany).

The hotel is rated as three stars and cost less than most of Vienna's two stars. It is meaningful on a personal level to me when I encounter this level of service and I had to come tell others about it.
