Pros: Colour accuracy / Brightness
Usable resolutions upto 1792x1344
Nice design
USB hub Cons: Blurry at 100+ Hz (any resolution)
1W Speakers - why bother??
I couldn't leave just one review of this product - a bad one at that - on here. I've been using my 454 for well over a year now and it is simply one of the best monitors I have seen. I have come into contact with a number of top end monitors at work ...

iiyama Vision Master Pro 454 (White) 19 in. CRT blocks wireless devices
by vrix ,Jul 12 '05
Pros: Good monitor, ... Cons: ... bad compatibility
I've recently bought a new wireless BenQ keyboard X730 along with an optical mouse in a pair.
I've noticed that it is responding very poor to what I do. Sometimes it just does not respond at all.
I made some manipulations with connecting the keyboard to other computers and it ran very well. Then I changed monitor on my computer (it was iiyama Vision Master Pro 454 19" CRT). Keyboard started to run the way it has to. No problems occurred any more.
I decided it is only my monitor that has this problem (maybe it was damaged during the production or something), so I took the keyboard to another computer (in my office) with the iiyama Vision Master Pro 454 19" CRT monitor. Result was the same - response was very poor or absent at all.
Again I must admit, the problem is present only with my 19" iiyama model. It does not occurred when connecting keyboard to iiyama Vision Master Pro 514 22" CRT.
Now I must choose - weather I refuse to use wireless or change the monitor, what of course is a bit expensive..

Disappointment
by duron600 ,Nov 11 '03
Pros: Good colors, high vertical refresh rates Cons: Image quality, un-fixable blurry text, warped image surface
Bought this monitor based on some positive reviews online. However, it gravely disappoints. Especially with regard to focus. Text in many areas of the screen is blurry, especially at the corners (e.g. the typical "File" menu title in applications is very blurry). No amount of fiddling with all the controls (and there are quite a few) solves this problem. Also, it is present in all the resolutions/vertical frequencies that I tried. It's hard
to believe that this is a 0.25 dot pitch monitor.
In addition, the image itself is twisted. This is seen at the bottom left, where the image border is bent in a way that is not fixable by any control manipulation (I've never seen anything like it before).
I'm returning this monitor, as the problems are not nearly something I could live with (unlike the 2 horizontal stripes that are also present in these types of monitors).
Probably going for a Samsung Syncmaster 959NF which by the way is a lot cheaper (round these parts (Denmark) anyway).
