Pros: Excellent resolution, color and contrast. Trusted manufacturer. Cons: Slightly expensive, mild blue-green-red pixelation of some projected images in odd circumstances.
I recently upgraded a home projector from an Infocus LCD (Liquid Crystal Display technology) projector achieving SVGA resolution to this Infocus LP-600. I shopped, read reviews and this is why I bought the LP-600. It has a native resolution of 1024 x ...

Pros: Light, powerful lamp, convenient features Cons: not perfect for home entertainment
When I learned that InFocus had designed a USB attachment that allowed you to plug your flash drive into the back of the projector directly and give your presentations without needing a computer, I was sold. I use the projector primarily for business ...

AWESOME PROJECTOR
by jteeler ,Aug 30 '05
Pros: Lightweight and compact, no need for the laptop, user friendly Cons: Need laptop, VCR, or DVD player to show video. Still a bit pricey.
I travel the country conducting at least 40 construction safety courses a year. The technology that comes along with this projector makes my life a breeze. The Liteport utility completely eliminates the need for me to lug some heavy laptop through security time and time again. All of your Powerpoint slides are converted to a jpeg format and automatically brought up on the screen by the projector. You don't have the ability to run video files in this format but you can run a VHS or DVD through the projector. The projector has a great speaker for this purpose and excellent illumination. I love it and will not be without it.

InFocus LP600 Good Choice for Business Travelors
by jackie3412 ,Sep 10 '06
Pros: Great Power and Specs Cons: It's an LP and not LCD
I am fairly happy with my purchase of this InFocus LP600. It has the power and lighting I need for my business presentations. Because I travel 3-4 times a week to different locations, I never know what kind of lighting environment or how large a room I need, but with the LP600, I do not need to worry because I can adjust it to any environment. I initially was looking for an LCD Video Projector and found the Mitsu HDTV HD2000L (the PT02Z was their older model) to be a good choice with it's long lamp life and power but it was beyond my budget. I went ahead with the LP600 and never looked back.
