I purchased this DVD player because in the store the picture quality was excellent. On the unit I purchased the picture was great too, however, the first time we put a DVD into it we got a blue screen. Finally after a lot of loading and reloading the disc we got it to play. About half way through the movie the screen froze. The disc would have to be taken out and started all over again. Not once have we been able to get a movie to play all the way on this unit. Everytime it either freezes or just wont load at all. The sound quality is poor. On the plane without headphones at full volume you can barely hear it. The features and picture quality are great for the price, IF you can just get the unit to work all the way through a whole movie.
