Pros: Small, easy to use, lightweight, cheap (find it on eBay) Cons: Minimal memory, 256MB max, if you are a power user, get an iPod.
REVISED - SEE BELOW I purchased this player for my wife, as a gift, as she had requested an MP3 player. I had my doubts that she would use one on a repeated basis, so I decided to buy a less expensive model to start with. I bought it on eBay, new ...

Pros: size
size/weight
expandable
price Cons: no tuner
poor product documentation
I have just recently started using my irock! 730i, and have been very pleased with it so far. I was looking for an MP3 player that was small enough to go running with and also had expansion capabilities. The irock afforded me both. The only feature that...

Pros: Um. It looks pretty? Cons: Flimsy, impossible to operate, pathetic tech support.
I bought the rock 730i because my husband desperately wanted an mp3 player for Christmas. The price was right and the irock 730i was hyped to be a quality product. Never having used an mp3 player before, technical support was important to me. The irock ...

Very poor
by hbj200 - Top 1000,Oct 02 '03
Pros: Small, but bigger than competitors Cons: Poor quality, poor sound, poor documentation, poor battery life, poor customer support, poor WMA compatibility
The 730i is one of the worst MP3 players I've come across, exhibiting even poorer quality than many early Creative Labs MP3 players that barely worked for most people. The screen is hard to see under any lighting conditions, and the battery life is nowhere near what the box says. (I also tried it with a new Energizer battery and still got disppointing battery life.) The worst offense I find is how hard it is to transfer music to the player -- you'll just pull your hair out in frustration. Plus, WMA support is far from perfect as about 1/4 of my WMA files do not play correctly, even though they play fine on my PC and RCA MP3 players.
This is a very poor product and you should avoid it. Go for better, cheaper offerings from Now Evolution and RCA.

If Only It Were Built Like a Rock
by khrystle ,Oct 27 '03
Pros: Easy to use, not very expensive
Cons: Not very durable
I bought this product to be able to enjoy my personal collection of MP3's at my leisure and discretion. It is a great product that performs quite well when used as the manufacturer intended. I love the fact that it can go wherever I go, but it isn't durable enough to suit my rough lifestyle.
