Pros: Bright and clear, easy on the eyes, good value! Cons: Integrated speakers are worthless, price has gone up since my purchase
Introduction Although many of them were written several years ago, I have written over 200 reviews on Epinions.com, and I have found that the ones that run the most smoothly and come out the best are for those ...
Pros: Very impressive color, brightness and more! Cons: I can't think of any. Update: tinny speakers
The name and description on the box reads: "LiquidVideo 17" Flat Panel TFT-LCD Monitor, Model : A170E1-01 with 1280x1024/SXGA, 16 Million Colors, Multimedia Speaker, Low Power Consumption, On Screen Display". I don't know what most of that means in ...
Pros: quality, clarity, price. Cons: built in speaker is weak.
I bought this Monitor about a year ago at Circuit City for $299. I can honestly say that even with a slightly lower resolution then a tube monitor, this LCD blows anything out of the water. The picture is crystal clear at any viewing angle and handles my ...
Pros: Cheap (with rebate), reasonable quality Cons: No drivers - so no color profile
Pathetic speakers
I usually buy PC and electronics products on the web, but I needed an LCD monitor in a hurry, so I bought this as the cheapest thing I could find in a regular store. I've used it with 3 different PCs, and on 2 of them it gives a very good picture in ...
Thumbs UP! -- Great Monitor! by jlpeifer ,Jul 14 '04
Pros: Bright, clear, reliable, space and energy efficient Cons: The tiny, embedded speakers won't give your sound much fidelity
We purchased this monitor a little over a year ago at our local Circuit City. While a little tentative about buying a non-name-brand monitor the salesperson assured me that I'd be happy with the decision. It was apparent in the store that the LiquidVideo actually had a better looking picture than the name-brand models on display, but I was also concerned about the monitor's reliability. The salesperson remarked that fewer of the LiquidVideo monitors were returned for maintenance than the name-brand models.
So I bought one... and now, in retrospect, I'm very happy. The monitor has performed very well, has retained its clarity and brightness, and has never given us an ounce of trouble.
My only regret is that I didn't buy more of these monitors at the time (they were on sale).
Pros: Nice bright monitor Cons: No driver support from manufacturer (whoever that is)
I have this monitor and I like it except for the fact that I cannot get a driver for it. It runs as a Generic Windows monitor only as far as I know. I believe this is a Circuit City private label brand and therefore may never have online support.
Pros: reliable, cheap Cons: it looks cheap compared to high end brands, you can BARELY hear the speakers.
I bought the Liquid Video 17" over a year ago because I no longer wanted to use my 19" Sony CRT monitor. It was too bulky, heavy, and I needed the desktop space.
I walked in, bought this monitor for $399 with a $70 rebate, and walked out. (I didn't shop for it, I just bought whatever was cheapest).
I'm still using the same monitor today, and it works just fine. There is ghosting when I play certain games, but for web browsing and email (99% of my time spent on the PC) it works just fine.
Pros: Cristal clear image good brightness Cons: small tinny speakers that I never connected from day one.
Well from the start this monitor was a gift from a friend and you never turn that down right... Well here is the just of it. Works better than my other name brand monitors
Pros: Good Clear Crisp Image Cons: Bad sound issues and not reliable
This monitor worked well for about 3 years until it suddenly crapped out on me. The screen would turn on and then the image would flicker off but still play sound.
If you're looking for quality then don't choose this monitor.
Although I had my doubts when I bought it, Still Going Strong by n2ooz ,Aug 15 '05
Pros: Good quality LCD despite its generic branding. Cons: Speakers are extremely small and not worth connecting unless low volume is all you need.
Just like danz53, I purchased my monitor over 1 year ago. I had hesitations about the low price and wondered about the quality and longevity of this monitor. Thankfully, I have not needed the extended warrantee that I purchased.

Pros: Great picture. Fast response time. Good HD. Tough. Cons: Headphone sized speakers. (Who uses monitor speakers, anyway?)
My wife gave me this monitor years and years ago. It supports nearly all HD applications and works as well today as the day I first plugged it in. Just a good, quality monitor. I have never had an ounce of problems with. One reviewer was upset because he couldn't update the driver. Does it work? Than you have the right driver.
