Pros: Super awesome picture. Sound output. Good looks. Cons: Average sound. Terrible remote.
This is a great TV. I'm sure you all want to know more than that, so here goes! My fiancee and I set a few criteria when shopping for a new TV. Aside from the usual things like size, maximum price and colour, we agreed that it should be capable of ...

Pros: picture Cons: none
To begin with, the ASPECT RATIO on this model is 4:3, not the 16:9 as its category listing on EPINIONS currently states. Several months ago I began researching 27" flat screen tvs to replace my 13 year old 20" regular old round screen JVC. Having been ...

Excellent Picture

Pros: Excellent Picture,Sound and sleek design. Cons: Weight and Awkwardness.
I've been looking at TV's to buy for the last two month's, finally got my profit sharing check and decided to go and get it...I went to Ultimate Electronics and was looking at there Flat Screens and decided to go with the Panasonic model (Price was a little bit better...trying to get the most out of my Check) Got it home turned it on and there was something wrong with the picture (had a major red tint to it, and couldn't get it to go away.) I took it back and was looking at the JVC 27" Flat Screen, it was a lot more than the Panasonic ($399.99) At that price difference I knew they were ripping people off, so I got my money back and went to R.C Willey and got the JVC there brought it home, hooked it up to my Satellite, and started to enjoy. Good thing my Dad went with me to help me carry it though....Very Happy with it....

Attractive to eye and ear
by kjmn ,Dec 30 '03
Pros: Easy setup, good colour and contrast Cons: Heavvyy!!
I purchased this in response to a need to reduce sound intensity in our house (3 teens and 2 adults). Our present TV is located in a sun room just off the kitchen/dining room in a bungalow. Viewers of music based entertainment tend to overwhelm the other persons in the house with loud audio settings. I went shopping for a model that would allow headphone use. This one does that, by using the audio out jacks (at the back)and a wireless headphone (which I already had). By muting the audio with the remote the room is quiet and the listener/viewer can adjust the volume via the headphone control. The 24inch model size has a regular headphone jack on the front. The colours on this model were more realistic than on a similar Panasonic model. The store clerk where I purchased this (Bleeker Stereo Ottawa ON) told me that JVC outsells all TV models in Canada. My son also uses it for XBox games and declares it very good for that. DVD movies (via XBox) display very nicely.

Fantastic buy!

Pros: Excellent picture quality, great sound and unbeatable value. Cons: Weight and dimensions.
I bought this t.v. at BJ's Wholesale Store as a Christmas gift for my mom. Two words sum up this purchase: fantastic buy. The pros are the clear picture, sound quality and price. I was able to buy it for $299, which was definitely a steal. The cons are that it's heavy at about 105 lbs. and it has large dimensions. You need two people to haul this thing around because of its size and weight. The t.v. is about 21" to 22" deep, which is too big for most entertainment centers / t.v. stands. Plan ahead before you bring it home. I have a Sony at home. I think the JVC is comparable to the Sony in picture quality, has better sound as a stand-alone unit and cost about $200 less.
