Pros: Great sound, flexibility, nice looks, excellent features!!! Cons: Remote not under warranty!
I looked around for a while at various in-dash cd player's which had mp3 capabilities. For information purposes, I have had different car audio setups in the past. I first had a Pioneer cd player which I purchased from Best Buy probably about 7 years ...
Pros: Inexpensive, Basic mp3 support, good sound quality, large easy access button layout. Cons: Does not support all file formats (just basic mp3 at all compressions) No .wma support.
Solid, inexpensive player with 200 Watts and good sound quality. Basic MP3 support is a big plus. For more advanced MP3 support, look elsewhere - This one will not play WMA files. Simple button layout (with large buttons) for easy use while driving. ...

JVC's KDS890 is an excellent CD/MP3 player for any automobile and for a good price. It plays back my CD-Rs without any trouble, and after several weeks of usage, I have experienced zero problems with any other feature of the product. The player only ...

When I decided to buy a cd player for my 2000 Corolla, I wanted something cheap (as in price), sounds great, played mp3s and was simple to use. My choice, obviously was the JVC kd-s890. The cd player has some very good points and also some bad ones. ...
best deck out there for the price by espicer ,Feb 17 '04
Pros: Price, great sound quality, 2 pre-amp plugs, easy rotary volume control Cons: No pause for cd's.
I bought this deck with alot of expectations for such a low price. I wanted the ability to play MP3's, and I wanted 200 watts total power. I wanted a simple deck with big sound. That is exactly what I got. Not alot of bells and whistles, but an easy to read display, and easy controls to tweak the sound while on the road. When buying any deck, do yourself a favor, and get an amp to go with it. This is the best deck out there for the price, mark my words. I looked, and tested at Best Buy and Circuit City. No technical Mumbo Jumbo, just facts. Great price and great sound. JVC has done it with this low price model!
Pros: Great sound, price, and features. Very functional. Cons: No front panel Line In or Subwoofer Out.
I've had this CD Player for just about a year now and its now in my 2nd vehicle, definitely worth swapping over. Its got GREAT sound quality and simple controls. Looks great in any vehicle and interior (not gaudy like some other receivers). You can't beat this price, when I bought it I paid $179, but still definitely worth it. My favorite feature is that it displays the track info of your own burned music/mp3 CDs (and even a lot of store bought CDs). I've read complaints about not being able to play WMA files, but would you want to? WMA format sounds horrible. I can't really say anything bad about this product, at that price, sound, and features, you can't be disappointed.
