JVC RX-884V 5.1 Channels Receiver

Pros: Power, clearity, ease of use and digital inputs!
Cons: no THX

Have had and used this 5.1 surround sound for 4 1/2 yrs. and still going. I would still have it if I didn't want the 'THX' for my home theater! Good power (it pushes Cambridge Towers w/ {4} 8" subs, center and rear 80s and 80s in the other room for the B select. 100watts x 5 channels w/powered sub out. Awesome DPS! Many modes to choose from for sound enhancement. very user friendly and on screen ability. Very customizable for its' time. More than enough receiver for anyone with the idea of a good home theater in mind, just not THX. Would definitely buy again.
