Pros: Very flexible loading; quiet; adjustable upper rack; large silverware basket; nylon racks Cons: Stain-prone tub; reliability concerns
A few years ago, the motor on my mother’s 9 year old dishwasher was making the pained sounds of a worn bearing, indicating imminent death. I advised her to just buy a whole new machine, as they had improved in energy efficiency and capacity. ...
Pros: In my books for the price and features most defiantly worth suggesting to any one! Cons: hard to close if installed wrong; removable toprack is hard to lock-back in place.
My stand point of this dishwasher as a sales associate at a Sears, I have got to say this is my best seller when it comes to features and price. This Kenmore is made by whirlpool so it does carry a pretty decent reputation behind it. When it comes to ...
Pros: Value, capacity, flexibility, adjustable rack, efficiency, durability, noise, convenience, performance. Cons: Door needs some effort to push shut all the way. (same with Whirlpool/KitchenAid)
Many people don't like paying more than $300 for a dishwasher. Then again, there are those who know you get what you pay for. This doesn't mean you have to throw money at the problem since this mid-priced Kenmore dishwasher is #1 for value in the ...
I bought this dishwasher one month ago and am extremely pleased with it. It cleans everything in a timely manner without too much noise. I bought this dishwasher to replace my two year old, three rack Maytag MDB8600AW. The old dishwasher's ...
Pros: Tons of room, very quiet plus affordable. Cons: Style
We bought this dishwasher in November after mine died a month previous and there were dirty dishes all over the counters all the time. My husband didn't want to buy another dishwasher for a year or so but finally caved. I had been looking for an ...
Excellent dishwasher for the price! by leejay1964 ,Apr 02 '06
Pros: Ultra quiet for a mid priced unit. Cons: The door is a bit too difficult to close tight.
I just installed this Kenmore dishwasher and cannot believe how quiet it operates. My condo has an open concept floor plan with a vaulted ceiling in the adjacent family room. The cheap "builder's special" GE dishwasher included with my newly constructed condo was too loud. The Kenmore is ultra quiet and has the best features as detailed in other reviews. I highly recommend this dishwasher.
Pros: Cleaning has been good Cons: Reliability, Noisy, Bad water pump, warranty service
Selected this unit because of its touted value for the price and Consumer Reports rating for quietness. It was quieter than our old unit, but I sure wouldn't rave about it. Now it roars as it needs a new motor pump. We called Sears for service as it hadn't been a year from when we picked it up from the warehouse, (and even less from we got it installed) but Sears won't honor the warranty because it was a couple days over a year from when they e-mailed us that it was available for pickup. Evidently, they don't keep track of when orders are picked up. Drying of plastics especially is poor, if not emptied soon after cycle ends all items become clammy. If racks could be tilted slightly, more water could run off and glassware would be drier.
Noisy, this dishwasher makes a loud grinding noise thru out it's full cycle. by lilmsnoitall ,Jan 28 '09
Pros: The color was good, and the other appliances were from Sears. It was installed well. Cons: I would not purchase another Sears product, the customer service is lackadaisical comparitivly speaking.
This unit can wake up the house, bad choice for the price. I would not purchase again. Sears did not seem interested in correcting the problem.
